UPDATED: OCT 20, 2010 Draught at Capone’s (Citra): Crystal malt, caramel malt, citra hops, and a hint of grains. Appearance: Poured amber in color with a large, creamy, dense, off-white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Clear. Sparkling. Excellent lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet and medium bitter. Tastes of malt, hops, slight citrus, and slight grains. Palate: Medium body. Slightly tingly, then lightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Malt and hop finish is medium bitter and lightly dry. A decent but average APA.

One of the better pale ales I’ve had. Nice hop aroma from a pale amber with a nice lacing head. The flavor was very bitter, crisp and clean. Just like it should be. Very dry finish.

Pretty average pale. Lost quite a bit on cask as well. Aroma is floral and standard. Little to note aside from decent drinkability. It was popular at the brewery.

Nice solid pale with much to offer to the drinker, most pales come across as pedestrian amidst all the IPAs, doubles and triples on the market, but this had a nice punch, complex body, very enjoyable.
