3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Tap, RnH. Slightly off-white head on a lightly hazy burnt marigold body. Floral hoppiness, some citrus, bread, and candy come into the aroma. Bit of graininess is the only different character in the flavor as opposed to the aroma...but kinda muted with a candy-like finish. Body is a bit too light, and subtle carbonation.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Amber pour with a tight white head. The nose is softly piny with a fresh crackery pale malt character. A little bit of zestiness with a soft herbal/spicy character. Fresh and chewy with some light fruitiness as well. A bit of minerally flavour on the finish.

Served on draft at Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Iím not sure how it was hopped, but it definitely wasnít Citra, so Iím putting this here. Iíll look into it and move the rating if necessary. Pours a clear amber color with a thin head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of bitter leafy, herbal hops and abit of a nutty note. The taste is bitter leafy hops, earthy notes and pale malts. Medium bodied.

On tap @ Rattle N Hum.
Light brown/copper and clear with some white head. Nice hoppy aroma with floral notes, some pine and light citrus. Very hoppy on the palate along with some malt character, bitter and dry. Lingering finish. Very enjoyable but a little bit on the bitter/dry side for my taste.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
9/18/10: Draught at Caponeís (Simcoe): Aroma of hops, Simcoe, and crystal malt. Poured amber in color with a tiny, off-white head that lasted throughout as a film on top of the beer, as well as around the edges. Clear. Sparkling. Small lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet and medium bitter. Tastes of crystal malt, nuts, hops, pine, grains, and water. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Lightly sweet, lightly bitter, malt, nut, and slight hop finish is dry. Too malty. Unbalanced toward malt. Hops are much more present in the aroma than in the flavor.
