2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Sammy (7034) - Toronto, Ontario, - FEB 14, 2013On tap at Cole’s. Light orange coloured body. Rather mute flavour, with a bit of astringency in the finish, and yet still a bit thin. Rather fair for the style.

Pours amber with a white head. Very hoppy. Dank, resin, pine, grapefruit. Balanced with malt at the finish. It was pretty good but not something I would drink often.

Pint at Tylers Apex. Good aroma, sweet. Orange peach. Golden orange color, small head spotty lace. Bittersweet flavor. Medium body, oily creamy mouthfeel, bitter finish. Aroma opened up nicely. Flavor less so. Still easy to drink, better than I’d anticipated from catagory score.

Draught. Pours a clear amber color with a moderate white head. Nose and taste are both a little hoppy and bitter, but it actually ends up being balanced well. Not a bad brew at all...
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20 Wileecoyote (31) - - DEC 26, 2012
Very good medium hoppy flavor for a double IPA, subtle aroma, not too strong, great aftertaste
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Mora2000 (4042) - McKinney, Texas, USA - NOV 25, 2012
On tap at The Common Tale. This was simply listed as Victory Ranch, so I have no idea if it was the R or the S. However, since other people who had it at the same bar have reviewed it as the S, I am going with that.
The beer pours an orange-amber color with a white head. The aroma is definitely that of a Double IPA. I get a lot of pine and resin notes, as well as a hint of biscuit malt. The flavor is more of the same. The dank pine and resin notes stand out initially, but the pineapple and grapefruit eventually comes through as well. There is a hint of biscuit and toffee but the bitterness is about medium. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Dixonian (1470) - Dallas, Texas, USA - NOV 21, 2012
On tap at The Common Table.
Golden amber brew with a good amount of white head. Big time hop nose - dank, citrus, pine, and resin. Flavor packs a hop punch as well but is balanced with a good amount of malt.
