Tasted: on tap, Liberty Taproom. Amber orange color with thin head. Aroma of pine and citrus hops. Tasted of floral hops/ grapefruit citrus. Body felt lighter than color appeared and was very drinkable. Nice bitter hop finish.

Hyper juteuse, comme croquer dans une pêche, finale de pamplemousse rose percutante.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap at Sugar Maple. Looks filtered orange-tan. Creamy glass lacing head. Smooth and very clean, not unlike the Smooth Hoperator in a way. Quite well balanced, shows off the big smooth malt. Very easy drinking for 9%. Lots of Munich malt. Really an excellent beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap. Poured a clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate spruce earthy hop and malt aroma. Medium to abundant body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. This beer exceeded my expectations.

I’m a fan of pine resin beers and this one fits the bill. Very alocholic. Good balance too. Tried in NYC in 2013.

this was a very, very good beer. Holds true to everything you’d expect from an IPA. And at 9%, it packs a punch!!

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours amber with a white head. Very hoppy. Dank, resin, pine, grapefruit. Balanced with malt at the finish. It was pretty good but not something I would drink often.

On tap at Cole’s. Light orange coloured body. Rather mute flavour, with a bit of astringency in the finish, and yet still a bit thin. Rather fair for the style.
