(Draught) Pours a clear yellow body with a tall off-white head. Aroma of pineapple, mango, lemon, and pine. Flavor of citrus, pineapple, herbaceous, grass, and pine with a dry, bitter finish.

Orange-tinted gold with so many bubbles the white head never fades. Aroma is funky, danky, hoppy. The taste has a strong malt backbone followed by medium earthy hops.

Draft at Dutch’s. Pours a clear dark golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma has big juicy citrus, tangerine, some earthy notes, sweet malts, toasted bread. The flavor is the same. Good drinkability. Very west coast in its flavor.

Tap sample. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate complex citrus and earthy hop aroma. Medium body with slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium complex bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable brew that exceeded my expectations.

On tap at The Common Table in Dallas. Pour is clear orange with a big white head and great lacing. Grapefruity, orange peel, bready, light caramelly, a touch of grass, piney, and earthy aroma. Taste is big grapefruit, orange peel, caramel, earthy, piney, bready, and spice with a big bitter finish. Sticky mouthfeel with high carnonation. Pretty good.

Apparently this bitch needs to be unretired. On tap at Piper’s Pub. Pours clear dark pale golden with some orange tints and small white head. Solid lacIng. Aromas of citrus, pine , and a bit of sweet malt. Flavors of bitter, bitter hops which I can tolerate easily, but it has that cough syrup like mouthfeel loaded with malty sweetness. The pine and citrus notes are obviously there as well with the hop profile. This is a decent beer, but I hate this type of malty sweetness in general. Given the hop profile I hoped for much more.

On tap at Musketeers in Richfield. Just says Victory Ranch IPA, but I believe this is what it is. Aromas floral, grassy, and citrusy hops. Pours a clear orange/gold with a white head, leaves a lot of lacing. Tastes of citrusy, resiny hops and sweet malts. Slightly sticky mouthfeel.

On tap at the Brew Kettle in Cleveland. Pours a clear orange without much head. Aroma of resinous hops. A bit on the bitter side. Oily smooth mouthfeel.

This is a fantastic DIPA. The menu at Rattle-n-Hum says Victory Ranch IPA so hope I'm rating the right beer. This beer has a distinct aroma but doesn't reveal itself until you get it on your tongue...delicious. I wonder if there was any cask aging with this one? It tastes like it could have some fermentation adjuncts but can't tell what. This is a big beer that hides it bite well so imbibe with care. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
