Draft notes. Poured hazy dark straw with off-white head. Nose was resiny hops, tangerine, mango, caramel malt. Had that juicy tropical fruity Citra flavor, with well balanced malt and some peppery and floral notes in the finish.

Draft after the foosball game. Nose is tropical and slightly danky. Taste is similar without a biting pithy bitterness. A sizable malt backbone to support the hops. A touch of warming but not hot. Woot. ---Rated via intercellular device

On tap at Leons Full Service Bar. Dark golden clear pour. Thick 4 inch white frothy head. Citrus and sweet fruits. Taste is Crisp refreshing citrus floral and pine. Full bodied thick but still smooth. Very dry bitter finish. A solid Imperial.

gripweed57 (594) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - JUN 1, 2013
Growler from Canal’s in Lawrenceville, NJ. Pours a brilliant copper color with a small creamy beige head with nice lacing. Aroma is fresh floral hops with notes of pine and citrus. Toasted malt flavor is dominated by the complex hop flavors that include orange, basil, pine and black pepper. The flavors are clean and distinct and as a result, the 9% alcohol is barely noticeable. Tremendous DIPA with great flavor.

acasteel (26) - San Francisco, California, USA - MAY 31, 2013
UPDATED: JUN 1, 2013 Guessing at the hop varietal based on heavy citrus overtones. No info at bar. Could use a bit more caramel to keep up with the bright citrus that hits upfront but quickly dissolves to a hollow finish

Draught. Pours an amber color with a moderate white head. Nose has a bit of a feet smell, which is really off-putting. Taste is slightly bitter with just a hint of sweetness on the back end of this; not quite licorice, but in that general family.

Pours a clear golden brown on tap with a filmy off-white head that leaves good lacing on the way down. Aroma is fresh citra hops, tropical citrus with a hint of grass. Taste follows with more grass and a clean bitter finish. Good stuff.
