COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A full-bodied lager beer of exuberant and robust character. It’s muscle-man body comes from decocted German malts and noble German hops. Lagered long and cold to refine its strong temperament, St. Boisterous emerges smooth and seductive, with a malty sweet charm. This classic rendition of the German ‘maibock' style will warm your heart.

Growler from Canal’s in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. Pours a bright honey gold color with a medium-sized bite head and lovely clinging lace. Fresh grainy malt aroma with notes of citrus and honey. First sip yields a crisp sweet malt taste that displays remarkable balance and flavor. Very simple yet elegant and right on for the "maibock" style. The finish displays notes of honey, vanilla and citrus mixed with peppery hops.

Tap at Victory, Downington PA - 25/05/12. Clear golden colour with a slightly non virginal white head. Sweet malt nose, honey, pepper. Caramel malt flavour, biscuit a little bread doughy-ness. Medium bodied, slightly prickly carbonation, but OK.

Rating after the fact. Tap at Proof. Cloudy yellow-gold. Sweet sugary bread and grain in the aroma. Tastes are sweet grain, grass hops and caramel. Clean and crisp.

Draft at Fermentation. Clear golden pour with a white head. Nose is sweet malt and grain. Flavor is slightly bland, sweet malt, corn grits and grainy. Bit of a dry finish. Not terrible

When poured into a glass it shows a golden sunshine body. It’s slightly hazy and amply attenuated. The foamy head is small and is fast fading with no noted spots of lacing. It’s aroma is that of sweet malts biscuits with a sutle spiciness. A well malt brew with ample amounts of malts. Hops balance out the sweet malts nicely. The finish here finds biscuit grass and warming alcohol. A thinner beer here but smooth alcohol warming finishes up the taste. A good biting beer with just the right amount of everything to make a sweet seductive tasting beer.
