Commercial Description:
A full-bodied lager beer of exuberant and robust character. It’s muscle-man body comes from decocted German malts and noble German hops. Lagered long and cold to refine its strong temperament, St. Boisterous emerges smooth and seductive, with a malty sweet charm. This classic rendition of the German ‘maibock' style will warm your heart.

A hazy pale brown beer with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet and dominated by notes of caramel, while the flavor is sweet with notes of both malt and caramel. Nothing special - especially for the style.

Some fusels, faint malt. Light amber colour. A little bit of stickiness. Like an underhopped Polish mocne. Lacks the melanoidins I seek.

Pale, clear, shining golden hue leaves a slowly fading off-white cover. A potent honeyed maltiness replaces the would-be preferred toastiness. Crunchy cereals feels rather sweet, yet floral, herbal and slightly vegetal garden scents politely try to offer a compensating balance. A bit metallic and rather lean, plus not very carbonated, the whole of which kinda seems to enhance drinkability, but cuts the enjoyment and contemplation. A touch of alcohol finds its way across the herbal bitterness which serves as a finishing act. Good, if not taking the way I’d hoped for.
