BDR (1850), Roseville, Minnesota, USA May 2, 2007 Nice nose on this golden pour with hints of dry grain and hops. Lots of foamy off white head. Crisp refreshing body with hints of hops and citrus. An excellent session beer.
LilBeerDoctor (278), East Setauket, New York, USA Jul 10, 2008 On tap at Blind Tiger. Pours a clear yellow with a small head. Aroma is super fruity. Flavor of luscious apple, pear, and other light fruits, a little buttery, also got some light buttery toast. Very tasty, light, super drinkable. VeloVampire (374), Parkdale, Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jul 7, 2008 12 oz bottle - looks like liquid honey in the glass, with an initial small off-white head - no retention though, and pretty soon, the liquid in the glass looks very much like a mead. Aromas of clover honey and sweet, slightly bready malt. Full, soft, slightly syrupy mouthfeel. Overly sweet, almost cloying as it warms. Average beer at best, probably gets a better rating than it should because of this brewer’s excellent reputation. Thanks to my bro for sharing the bottle. grandet (300), Scranton, Pennsylvania, USA May 18, 2008 Transfering tasting notes. Bottle. Amber pour with a small head that did not last long. Lots of malt aroma. Lotts of malt on the tounge along with some light hops. Not bad. toddkrem (62), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Apr 27, 2008 Thin light beer. Tasted ok. Not a big bock fan. A tad sweed, not hoppy enough for me. Radek Kliber (3278), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Apr 15, 2008 Bottle 355 ml
Appearance: Amber gold with loud medium cap on top that sadly did not lasted to long.2+ Nose : Plain sweet golden malt with slight rosy flower like gentle citric hop.6+ Flavor/Palate : Much better here. Full bodied brew with solid , clean base. Well lagered , smooth and clean with soft warm alcohol support. Sweet lager with very slight hop touch. Reminded me of Okocim Mocne but bit less hopy.Good attempt by Victory.
