Jul 26, 2008 Tap at Blind Tiger. Aroma of tart apple/pear, light bitterness, toast. Flavor exhibited a dry sweetness. Pretty dry and drinkable. Not bad, just didn’t get me going.

Jul 20, 2008 On tap @ Blind Tiger, NYC. Pours a light golden amber. Fruity, sweet malts & somewhat floral aroma. Tasty, easy drinking. Sweeter tasting, slightly buttery but smooth.

Jul 10, 2008 On tap at Blind Tiger. Pours a clear yellow with a small head. Aroma is super fruity. Flavor of luscious apple, pear, and other light fruits, a little buttery, also got some light buttery toast. Very tasty, light, super drinkable.

Jul 7, 2008 12 oz bottle - looks like liquid honey in the glass, with an initial small off-white head - no retention though, and pretty soon, the liquid in the glass looks very much like a mead. Aromas of clover honey and sweet, slightly bready malt. Full, soft, slightly syrupy mouthfeel. Overly sweet, almost cloying as it warms. Average beer at best, probably gets a better rating than it should because of this brewer’s excellent reputation. Thanks to my bro for sharing the bottle.
