2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a Duvel tulip, 2012 release.
A: Very clear golden body with very small signs of carbonation and no head despite pouring rather hard. This looks uncarbonated and lifeless.
S: Much like the Dogfish Head version only herbs are smelled, too overbearing to enjoy.
T: Lots of herbs, but not as potent as the aroma. Iím having a hard time picking up much else than the herbs.
M: Medium bodied, no carbonation. How disappointing.
O: The lack of carbonation makes this worse than the Dogfish Head one and really makes for a worse beer despite them being very similar. I now just need Stoneís to have them all, then never again.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 ounce bottle. Thanks Andrew! Pours a slightly cloudy pale gold with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, yeast, spice, and grass. Taste is lemons, yeast, mint, cloves, malt, and florals. Nice.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle, thanks to joshmcg000. Slightly hazy gold pour with a thin, long lasting bright white head that leaves a surprisingly nice amount of lacing. Aroma of sage, ginger, wet limestone, light cereal, a little tart stone fruit, and some nice, slightly funky yeast. Flavor is cereal, stone fruit and toast up front, leading to the spicy ginger, sage, and peppercorn middle and a nice, spicy, floral and lightly biter citrus peel finish. Light to medium body, slightly creamy entry, moderate, slightly sharp carbonation and off dry finish. Really good stuff.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz. bottle: This one pours a hazy, golden color. There wasnít much of a white head on it, and what was there didnít linger or leave any lacing. It has a nice aroma. Somewhat musty, with lemon and grapefruit, wheat and some peppery notes. Interesting taste. Some tartness, wheat, spiciness, bit of bitterness, lemon, a touch of yeastiness and breadiness. A very nice Saison. I hope they do it again!

3.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Some citrus, spice and a good amount of funk in the nose but a bit underwhelming. Tastes good with a light fruity flavor, a little alcohol and spice.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Pours a pale fizzy yellow. Small white head atop. Fair amount of bubbles rising throughout. The nose is really herbal, which was expected. Notes of grass, yeast, thyme. Crisp mouthfeel, again expected due to the vast amount of carbonation present. A flavorful beer here with thyme, oregano, lemon pepper, lime, yeast, mild citrus. A lot going on, but itís almost too strange. This was the last of the 3 versions I needed to try. I donít think any of the other ones really jumped out at me, and this is no exception. Probably a beer I wonít be visiting again. But hey, the friend I shared it with, itís his favorite beer. To each their own.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: FEB 26, 2013 A random mistake to drink this style at such an age, but we got lucky. Pear, yeast, mint, pepper, faint banana on the nose. Exciting. Very clear through the gold; itís good to see sunshine. Such an interesting flavor. Minty as hell; seems the rosemary has lost the herby attributes but maintained the floral - would not have expected such! A novelty of sorts, but a beer I would drink whenever I had the chance.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottled. Poured bright, straw golden with a short white head. The aroma picked up a vibrant blend of lemon zest, floral notes, and related white spices over a soft pale base.. a bit of mint right on the back.. smelled like it was going to be refreshing. The flavor found tangy lemon, peppery spices, and floral notes throughout, with a soft pale and biscuity malt base.. flowers, lemon, mint, and cloves on the bright, refreshing finish. Medium-bodied with low-ish carbonation on the palate.. everything worked well together (though a little heavy on the floral and spicage for me).. delightfully dry and refreshing.
