Bottle hazy/cloudy dull light tan peach color. Brief white head settling into a thin ring. Musty light fruity spices. Mild fairly sweet pale malts. Some bitter bite at the end from the spice more so that straight IBUs. Not as dry as the classic imports.

12 oz. bb Nov. 11, 2016. Nose is mildly funky cheesy, lemon zest, pineapple, evergreen and white pepper. Golden-amber and lightly hazy with a lasting creamy film on top. Flavors of funky white grape, earthy honey, peppery resin, thyme, oak and rosemary. Light-medium body has a smooth medium-high carbonation and a pretty drinkable balance.

Bottle, pours a bright golden color, topped with a small white head and wispy lacing. Nose is aromatic with spices, most notably the lemon thyme. Some rosemary, but I lose track beyond the two. Taste is light and refreshing, the spices seem dialed down from the Stone bottling. Some sweet and citrus, more rosemary and thyme. Overall quite pleasant.

Very good saison, lots of herbal notes like sage and rosemary in both the smell and the flavor. Some citrus shines through as well. Some cracker like maltiness and a dry finish. Well done beer, good collaboration between these giants of craft beer

Bottle to tulip. Overly clear light golden yellow. Moderate bubbly head, fades quickly. Aroma is herbs, herbs, diacetyl? Some bread, herbs, mild bitterness, moderate carbonation. Resembles herbal tea a little too much. Not really farmhouse.
