Commercial Description:
With a huge, Pacific Northwest hop aroma & character upfront, Storm King subsides into massive, roast malt complexity. More flavor than mere words can adequately describe. Rich and substantial, it will warm your heart.

12oz bottle. This stout is delicious. Extremely drinkable with good chocolate, roasted malts and bitterness. Alcohol taste is almost non-existent.

Pours pitch black with a thin beige head, moderate thin, sticky lacing. Aromas of coffee, hops, chocolate, alcohol and wood. Flavor is roasty, malty and sweet with a nice hit of floral hoppiness in the finish. Too bitter for my preference of stouts.

12oz bottle. Pours midnight black with a towering thick chocolate head. Nose is chocolate and roast coffee with a lovely underpining of piney citrus hops. Flavor is a shock. This beer is extremely hoppy. Tons of coffee and chocolate up front leading to a roasty finishes that collides perfectly with spicy resiny hops and a huge bitter finish tempered with a bit of oak and smoke. Mouthfeel is a bit light for the style and the depth is not near as much as other imperials but this is still a cool and different take on the style. The Hop Devil is actually better.

Bottle. Pours almost black with a decent frothy tan head. Very complex and dynamic. First sniff is extreme smoked meat and roasted malt. Later, hops and oats dominate the smell. Hops, chocolate, coffee, and then more hops in the taste. Great bitter hop finish with a little smoke. Slightly thin for an imperial stout.

Boom - outta the park! This is a smooth silky stout that is full of flavor like an imperial. However, it hides the high alcohol content well.

This is a great stout. Smell is that of chocalate malt and hops. Good balance of taste. Pours dark with espresso colored head. Great stout!

Black pour with a minimal tan head. Chocolate, malt, and coffee. Flavor was exceptionally smooth with the malt and chocolate up front, then a little hops. Nice dry finish and an excellent beer.

very dry finish. maltyness tries to come out but the bitterness holds it down. Slightly thin and acidic.
