Commercial Description:
With a huge, Pacific Northwest hop aroma & character upfront, Storm King subsides into massive, roast malt complexity. More flavor than mere words can adequately describe. Rich and substantial, it will warm your heart.

Been searching for this beer for a while, and finally found it later in the season. One of my first imperial stouts. I’m not one for a hoppy beer, but this is just delicious, very complex and smooth. Such a deep ocean color and very drinkable.

Draft pour. Deep black with a slightly frothy head. Sticky. Really sticky--rubbed my fingers together and it damn near turned to glue. Very strong dandelion flavor. Overly roasty and bitter.

This used to be one of my favorite everyday beers then it stopped finding its way into my fridge. Having had many many great stouts since, this one rates with the best of them. It is classic, no flavors or extra sweetness. Beautiful.

Strong coffee/chocolate nose. Roasted malts and sweet to the palate. Strong bitter finish. Pours black as night and thick creamy head. The beer that turned me on to beer tasting.

12oz bottle poured into a tulip glass. VSKIS pours inky black and thick like old engine oil. The head is smallish and brown. The nose is full of roasted malts, chocolate and lots of hops. The flavor is full of the same things as the aroma plus a nice alcohol burn to round out the complexity. The body is thick and chewy but a little lighter than a typical stout. The finish is roasty and lingers. This is an excellent imperial stout.
