dogfish120love (28), west hartford, Connecticut, USA Aug 6, 2008 delicious imperial stout with an obvios malty presence. beautiful sweet aroma. joebudzjoe (85), USA Aug 6, 2008 Tap @ Monster B’s in Stamford; Sweet malt aroma and flavor with a pitch black body. Surprisingly alcohol taste is hidden despite the ABV. Very warming; perfect for the winter, but not too abrasive for a summer night. Naka (397), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 3, 2008 Pours very black with a foamy frothy medium tan-colored head. A little bit of lacing. The head on this poured about 2 1/2 fingers. Aroma of molasses, coffee, and some sour raspberry notes. A dark burnt bitter chocolate flavor. Extremely dark roasted coffee, caramel, and a touch of raisins. A rich creamy body with a light, but full-bodied carbonation. It leaves a very bitter flavor like black coffee with a negative amount of sugar in it. T2Tool (259), Murfreesboro, Tennessee, USA Aug 2, 2008 Poured from the bottle a dark black with a brown thick head. Immediate aroma of roasted smokey grains, coffee, caramel and chocolate. A think mouthfeel with the taste just like the aroma. Snojerk321 (925), San Diego, California, USA Aug 2, 2008 Pours black with a thin tan head. Aroma of malt, actually fruity. Tastes of hops, roasty, coffee , slightly bitter. Rich, smooth and flavorful. Very nice stout
