Featuring the shimmering, lemony brightness of new variety American hops over the equally bright base of malted wheat, Summa Ale brings aromatic refreshment to your senses and a sense of summer flair to your darkening days of late autumn. We longed for some summer flavor so we tossed "summa" this and "summa" that from our great summer beers like Summer Love Ale, Sunrise Weissbier and Mad King’s Weiss to make you (and us) this freshing treat.

Pours a hazy golden straw color. Nice fluffy white head. Looks like you could sleep on it. Great retention. The aroma is straight up Hefe, nothing more, nothing less. Still it’s nice. Slight citrus, spices, of course the number one thing doing it’s thing, the yeast. Brings up some nice banana and lemon. There’s a slight bready malt flavor that sticks around. With the taste at first you’ll get the breadiness hitting the palette followed by the lemon and banana. The end hits you with some zesty spiciness. Not a overwhelming brew. Just totally drinkable and enjoyable. Something I would of had another of. Mouthfeel is bordering on light but still somehow remains creamy.

Tap at Victory. Pours a hazy deep amber/orange with a medium creamy/bubbly white head that laced. Aroma of banana and clove, citrusy and bready malt notes. Flavor was much of the same banana/clove along with the bready pilnser type malt and citrusy hops.
