COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed locally at the Victory Brewery in Chester County, the Summer of Love Ale is a golden ale made with pale malts, German hops and Brandywine River water. This specific style of beer was chosen because it has a broad appeal and will be accessible for casual beer drinkers, but will still retain exciting hop notes.

The brew has a vibrant and refreshing pale color derived from its lean and refreshing malt body. And the initially floral aroma of hops segues into a well integrated, refreshing hop dryness of European heritage.

A very approachable and enjoyable light ale. Clear gold with a thin white head. The nose is quite hop-forward. The palate is light to medium bodied, with grains and hints of lemon. Clipped finish, but a fresh mouthfeel.

Bottle. It pours a very clear yellow color with a small white head. The aroma is very grainy/bready with some strong notes of grass and earthy hops. The flavor is a wonderful balance of light bready malts and spicy, grassy hops. There are some more citrusy and piney accents before a dry crisp finish. A really nice crisp summer beer.

Pours a decent golden yellow with a nose of piney grapefruit, peach, and a touch of orange/lemon rind. Flavor is malt-forward grapefruit, sour citrus bread, light lemon, and a touch of honey in the finish. Average mouthfeel. Refreshing beer, especially after mowing the lawn.

Clear straw colored, quickly dissipating white head. Aroma full of grassy, wood-like hop aromas. Lively carbonation. Grassy, floral hops backed by a thin malt profile. Slight lingering mineral bitterness. A nice warm weather session beer.

Rating #50 for 2012 12oz bottle cold, from a snifter glass. Aroma was cat pee heavy in urea. Clear yellow beer 1/4 inch head, almost no lacing. Taste, cat pee with a bitter finish. Palate, medium carbonation, smooth finish.

(bottle) Pours a clear gold color with a thin white head and decent lacing. Aroma contains plenty of fresh hoppiness, with scents of lemon, cut grass, and flowers with only a faint glimmer of a bready, crackeresque undercurrent beneath the freshness. The flavor is even more well put together, with some faint pale malt sweetness initially hitting the tongue before quickly transitioning to a dry, crackery, and crisp mineral water finish. Lemon zest here too. Some lingering and lightly spicy bitterness clings on after the crispness subsides, which further enhances the finish. Mouthfeel is light and the carbonation is lively. Overall this is a perfectly appropriate beer for the summer months, and that finish really shined through.

12oz into a pint. This is the best summer beer ever. Hoppy right from the front, this is no dull dimmer. Theres a bite that brings one back for more and leaves one wondering if this is an ipa hybrid or just a very fine summer brew. Quite nice. Color is lemonade gold with hay, and sunshine mixed in. Taste is hoppy all over, wheat filled and particuarlly enjoyable. This is the beer for summers to come.
