4.3 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
12oz bottle into a pint glass.
Pours a clear medium yellow with a chunky creamy head. Amazing head retention and lacing.
Smells absolutely fabulous. Tons of citrus and flowers. Grape, bubblegum, along with some grass and pine. This really might be one of the best smelling beers I have ever had.
Nice floral and citrus up front on the taste along with a little bit of light bread. High bitterness takes hold almost immediately and lasts through the finish. Finishes quite clean and dry.
Overall, what an excellent beer! The aroma is just out of this world. My one complaint would be the bitterness feels a little too much for the style but it is a mild complaint. Unfortunately I can’t buy this in my area but I am definitely stocking up on my next trip out of town.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Golf course. Pours a golden color with a very large fluffy white head. Well balanced and earthy with green and floral hops, a caramel backbone and a lingering finish. Nice.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Yellow /gold, foamy white head with decent lacing. Serious grapefruit in the nose. Sweet malt across the tongue supported by a medium body. The middle to the end is accentuated by a nice, but not overpowering, hop bitterness. Finish is hoppy, but balanced. Really nice beer.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a clear yellow with a nice white head. Citrus aroma of grapefruit, lemon, grass and orange. Taste is not quite as citrus as the aroma. It still contains a good deal of these impressions, but it has more of a hoppy character and has a sort of peppery bite. Lemon flavor stands out among the citrus. Light in body and thin in texture with a bitter finish. Very crisp to drink. Perfect for summer.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours straw yellow with a finger of white head that hangs a bit, leaves a little lacing. Aroma is pretty flat but has a little hay scent. Taste is pretty light and resembles a kolsch.but has a little bitterness on the finish. This is a little over-hyped in my opinion but very drinkable for the summer.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at Victory. Clear, pale yellow with ample white head. Smell is immediately spicy/fresh hops with that slightly skunk/cat pee (in a good way) characteristic, like the hops in NB’s Ranger.
Taste is hops up front with a nice, smooth, slightly sweet pale malt flavor and a silky but firm hop bitterness. None of that industrial, added on bitterness that seems more and more common. Dry finish.
This is an excellent offering from Victory.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: JUN 19, 2012 draft at The Kitchen Upstairs. lightly hazed gold body with a white head. medium-light bodied, dry, prickly and bitter throughout with soft carbonation and not-so-soft grain husks. noble hops are appropriately pungent and grassy with earthy spice and tingly phenols and acids. dried egg shell yeast character is a little too bold for my tastes, but otherwise this presents itself as a well-hopped golden/pale ale with german-influenced hop character. too astringent from a high hop rate, dry body and no lagering. reminds me a lot of the American-hopped Hungarian lager "Keserű Méz", funny enough.
