3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
(bottle) Pours a clear gold color with a thin white head and decent lacing. Aroma contains plenty of fresh hoppiness, with scents of lemon, cut grass, and flowers with only a faint glimmer of a bready, crackeresque undercurrent beneath the freshness. The flavor is even more well put together, with some faint pale malt sweetness initially hitting the tongue before quickly transitioning to a dry, crackery, and crisp mineral water finish. Lemon zest here too. Some lingering and lightly spicy bitterness clings on after the crispness subsides, which further enhances the finish. Mouthfeel is light and the carbonation is lively. Overall this is a perfectly appropriate beer for the summer months, and that finish really shined through.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12oz into a pint. This is the best summer beer ever. Hoppy right from the front, this is no dull dimmer. Theres a bite that brings one back for more and leaves one wondering if this is an ipa hybrid or just a very fine summer brew. Quite nice. Color is lemonade gold with hay, and sunshine mixed in. Taste is hoppy all over, wheat filled and particuarlly enjoyable. This is the beer for summers to come.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
APPEARANCE: Pours a pale lemon yellow color with a good 2 fingers of fluffy white head. Good clarity reveals a multitude of bubbles soaring up towards the top of the beer. Pretty decent retention, but the lacing is even better.
AROMA: Citrus, Toasted Grain, Lemongrass, and Dried Hay.
TASTE: Nice citrus bite up front followed by some grassy hop flavor. I’m getting some grainy flavors in there as well. Both the citrus and hops show up for a second go-round providing a refreshing lemony snap on the back-end. There’s some lingering bitterness on the finish.
MOUTHFEEL: Fairly light body with a moderate (and slightly fizzy) level of carbonation.
MOREY’S BOTTOM LINE: Without a doubt one of my favorite summer beers. Ultra-drinkable, yet full of flavor. At 5.2% it’s pretty session-friendly too. If I’m reviewing to style (which I am), I can’t imagine there being a much better Blonde Ale than this one right here. Victory has done for Blonde Ales what they did for Pilsners. Highly recommended!

5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
Draft at Jerry’s. Pale gold with big, foamy, white head / Elegant, floral nose of bread, honey, and citrus / Medium body, lush and creamy but understated and stylish with superb balance and bitter finish / Flavors of pear, honeydew, orange, resin, hay, soap, and dry hops / Relative to a golden ale, this is just absolutely perfect.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a clear light yellow with a small white bubbly head that stays as a minimal lacing, plenty of carbonation. Smells of grass, lemon and earthy hops. Very light in taste and is more like a pilsner or pale ale. Lemon in grass taste are minimal the hops are pleasant and the malt is pretty strong, but it is pale malt, so not overly strong. Great session beer wonderful after working up a sweat
