COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed locally at the Victory Brewery in Chester County, the Summer of Love Ale is a golden ale made with pale malts, German hops and Brandywine River water. This specific style of beer was chosen because it has a broad appeal and will be accessible for casual beer drinkers, but will still retain exciting hop notes.

The brew has a vibrant and refreshing pale color derived from its lean and refreshing malt body. And the initially floral aroma of hops segues into a well integrated, refreshing hop dryness of European heritage.

From notes. Bottle. Pour is clear straw yellow with a fairly substantial, frothy, white head. Sweet fruit aroma, creamy wheat, orange, and some floral hops. Almost perfume like. Light body that reminds me of what an amped up pilsner would be. Some orange and grapefruit flavors, grassy, and a crisp and dry finish. Somewhat reminiscent of Quinannan Falls, but that beer was even better. Still, this is a phenomenal beer with loads of drinkability. Hell, I think I had a 12 pack on saturday alone.

Appearance: VERY light yellowish gold tint. Yes tint. I wouldnt even call this a color is nearly clear (for a beer) Aroma: Malt, yeast, slightly sweet hops and almost stale grass like smell Taste: Very light taste, nearly tasteless with no lingering on palate Overall: Big disappointment. Nearly no color and no taste. Pretty close to a sparking water

Smells up front a little funky, wet hay rotten cumquats. Pours light and golden with little head. Taste a little hippy and barely funky. Leaves no lasting taste wish it tasted more like it smelled.

Tap at Farmhouse in Burlington. Clear golden pour, average head. Really nice for the style, with a nose of floral and leafy hops mixed with good citrus notes. Flavor brings more bright hop character, with light lemon and tangerine, grass, and leaf. Mouthfeel is crisp, light bodied, and drinkable. Good session brew.

Overall, one of my favorite breweries. This beer is no different. Citrus hops and grassy/ malt flavor. Crisp finish, well balanced. Worth the try!

The aroma is hoppy with citrus and grassy hops. There is enough malt to add balance but it’s not a mostly malty beer aroma. The appearance is light gold with a large foamy head. The taste is like the aroma with a bitterness from start to finish and a touch of yeast at the very end. The palate is thin but OK for the style. Overall not that impressive but it is what most people are looking for in a summer beer.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a pale yellow color with a large foamy yellow-white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sour, tangy, perfumey and a touch skunky. The flavor was tangy and tart lemon, windex, perfume and a bit of skunk. Long, tart windex finish. Light body. Not good.

Pours light golden from tap with a thin white head that leaves no lacing. A lot of aroma with big grapefruit notes on the nose. Nice floral hoppiness on the tongue which finishes neat and clean. Frankly i thought this was a pilsner at first which is a compliment since most blonde ales bore the shit out of me.

Clear, blonde ale with a smallish white head but the many bubbles hold a thin white head. Lacing is intricate and white. The aroma is bitter and earthy and more inviting than anything else. The flavor starts with a refreshing bite and tastes like bittering hops and full, German, crystal malts. This beer satisfies in all the ways that you want it to right now.
