(bottle, 35.5cl) Slightly hazy, pale golden colour with a blond and short foamy head. Fruity hoppy aroma with notes of citrus, grapefruit and lemon zest. Mildly bitter flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Soft pale malty base with a good citric hoppy bite, leading into a mildly hop bitter finish. Clean and refreshing Ale. 02.II.16

PAle gold pour with a decent white head. Earthy, citrus, malt aromas. Taste is fairly simple citrus and caramel, very drinkable, a little bitterness comes through at the end

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
355ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish golden colour with average, creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Protein-impregnated, grainy, strawy aroma, mild citrusy hoppy overtones, hints of lemon zest. Taste is slightly dry, citrusy hoppy, minimally strawy, pale malty basis, hints of lemon zest; rather light, monotonous and slightly watery.

Pours a somewhat cloudy straw color. About one and half fingers white soapy head. It’s a runny head, but there’s good retention, and runny lacing.
Aroma is earthy hops. There’s plenty of citrus and grapefruit. I smell some grains, but the hops are quite powerful, it drowns out most everything else.
Taste is hop forward. Citrusy and lightly malty. There’s not a lot to say about it, but I don’t think it is mean to be complex by any means.
Mouthfeel is light body. It’s very light, refreshing. Maybe a little unbalanced, too much hops and citrus and not enough malt. But highly drinkable.
Overall, this would make a great summer beer. I love the label. This would make an amazing beer to sit and watch a baseball game. This reminds me a lot of a pilsener, and that’s okay, because I like pilseners. Yeah, this one is worth a try.

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
BB 22 DEC 2015. Poured a clear golden colour with a two-finger white foamy head that retained OK and laced OK. Carbonation moderate with fine to medium bubbles. Aroma with sweet malt plus citrus/lemon and hints of hops; all moderate and none over-powers the other. Taste subtly of lemon followed by a very slight bitterness. Light body. Crisp, refreshing, clean, light and smooth but a bit bland. Very much like many other macro-brewed golden ales.

Bottle pour. Kind of boring and I didn’t really like the hop taste. There are much better blond ale’s out there.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz. bottle at a charity event. A little out of season but it beat the macro offerings available. Pours a clear yellow-gold with a small, lasting white head. Notes of tea, grass, crackery and slightly sweet biscuit malts, earth, faint toasted grain, and a light herbal note that may have gone down with time. Light-bodied, with low to moderate carbonation and a smooth, earthy, grassy mouthfeel. Good for the style, although I need to try it fresher.
