COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed locally at the Victory Brewery in Chester County, the Summer of Love Ale is a golden ale made with pale malts, German hops and Brandywine River water. This specific style of beer was chosen because it has a broad appeal and will be accessible for casual beer drinkers, but will still retain exciting hop notes.

The brew has a vibrant and refreshing pale color derived from its lean and refreshing malt body. And the initially floral aroma of hops segues into a well integrated, refreshing hop dryness of European heritage.

Bottle (12 oz). Enjoy by 12 oct 2014. Courtesy of Minderbinder, thanks! Almost clear bright straw/golden with a medium easy to revive white head and some lacing. Aroma is quite floral with earthy notes, herbal hops and cereals. Taste is also floral and herbal forward along cereals, earthy/mineral notes and light citrus. Light to medium body, but never watery. Good carbonation. Crisp. Clean. Dry finish. Floral aftertaste. Super quenching and sessionnable. It feels like a 4% abv beer. Quite tasty too. Well executed!

Pours a clear golden with a half finger of lacing white head. Aroma is light with floral, light citrus, and malt. The flavor is moderately sweet with a crisp bitter finish of medium duration. Great beer for summer porch sitting!

Bottle at Euston Tap, London on 18 July. Poured a pale, clear golden, with a dense white head. Aroma of peaches, tangerine and some lightly toasted malt. Straw and grain in the flavour, with a little sweet fruit. Finish was grassy, with some bready malt and peal.

Transfer from BA review on 7-9-12 - Poured from bottle into pint glass Appearance – Pours a lighter golden color with a nice billowy white head. The head has a moderate amount of lacing and leave a medium level of lacing on the glass. Smell – The aroma is mainly of a lighter bready nature with some lemon citrus and a light pine hop aroma. Taste – The taste begins almost entirely malt based. Flavors of bread and biscuit are on the tongue. Hop flavors then start working their way into the taste. It begins with some citrus and then some pine begins working its way into the flavor. The taste overall is more on the dry side and makes for some easy drinking slightly bitter flavors. Mouthfeel – The body is on the lighter to medium side with the carbonation level being just slightly above average. Both make it very drinkable and enjoyable. Overall – A good session brew that is easy to drink while hanging out and sitting around with friends or just watching the game on TV.

On tap @ Last Drop. Pours light yellowish golden with very thin white head. Aroma is thin light malt and dry peppery hops. Taste is clean lemony pale biscuity malt with dry herbal hops on the finish. Impressively light and flavorful, really a perfect summer beer.

12 oz bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor have pale, biscuity malt, light resiny hops, some floral notes, light citrus, crisp and refreshing, decent summer beer.

Clear straw yellow color. Not much head, almost looks like a white wine. The first aroma is interesting: it’s metallic, but also kind of flowery. The malts are of the Euro variety (more sharp German than bready English). The hops are borderline perfume. There is an aroma that is borderline white-grape; I can’t quite put my finger on it. The taste doesn’t have a Belgian funk, but it has a Belgian golden quality. The malts aren’t quite "bready," but they are sweet and soft. There is a definite grape/berry component that is so unusual. The feel is really dry, almost champagne-like. It’s a better-than-average summer ale, to be sure. Adds a little white wine to the mix, and that’s actually a good thing in this case.

Nice malty aroma with a subtle citrus aroma from the hops. Very clean appearance. The beer is a light golden yellow with brilliant clarity. The head is foamy white with excellent retention and nice lacing on the glass. The beer has a nice biscuit malty flavor up front with a nice bit of hop flavor and bitterness on the back end. Finishes a little dry which makes you want to go back for more. Good Summertime beer.
