COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed locally at the Victory Brewery in Chester County, the Summer of Love Ale is a golden ale made with pale malts, German hops and Brandywine River water. This specific style of beer was chosen because it has a broad appeal and will be accessible for casual beer drinkers, but will still retain exciting hop notes.

The brew has a vibrant and refreshing pale color derived from its lean and refreshing malt body. And the initially floral aroma of hops segues into a well integrated, refreshing hop dryness of European heritage.

Aroma - Fruit and some spice. Smells crisp and fresh with just a tinge of alcohol content present. Smells better as the glass empties. Appearance - Clear and golden with a nice 1 finger head that persist throughout the majority of the session. Light in color to match the summery flavor. Taste - A medium amount of bitterness for a blond ale, but absolutely welcome. The hoppy scent is aided by the hoppy finish that lingers. Bitterness leaves a fresh taste that persists, but not too hoppy to resist throwing back a few. Tastes floral with a sweet caramel malt in the background. No off flavors I can recognize. Palate - Light and playful on the palate. Bitter finish that lasts, but isn’t unpleasant. Light body, overall lighter beer with the perfect amount of carbonation and flavor for a summer day. Overall - Great beer that fits in well with hoppier golden ales. Akin to Victory Prima Pils in the bitter light ale sense, but clearly a different family of hops. Will be drinking this again.

Almost a half finger of head on a clear, golden colored body. The aroma is bright grapefruit and lemon. The taste has a sharp lime bitter beginning and then mellows to the finish. The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation. It has great bitterness for a blond ale. Tasty.

Poured from bottle. Golden clear white head. Drinking this on a dock makes it taste good. Usually don't like this style but with titties and music around it is good. Grains and hops flavor. Decent pils

Pale gold with white head. Nose is sweet candied malt, graham cracker, with sweet citrusy pine. Flavor is more balanced with some pale malt and a moderate dry citrus and pine bitterness. Some lingering pale malt and dry citrus rind. Middle road drinkability. Meh.

I’m not a big fan of blonde ales, but this is so nicely hopped and malt balanced that I really enjoyed it! Pours a light straw colour with nice frothy white head. Evergreen, grass, & peach aromas; citrus rind, white grape skin, & herbal white pepper flavours; smooth, light, well carbonated palate, drying finish with delicious malt balance & lingering hints of honey. Cheers!

As is intended a good out door, BBQ, summer beer. The after note is absolutely wonderful I would like to add.

Awful, awful, awful. This beer makes me sick to my stomach. Terrible aftertaste that requires a chaser.

Pours clear, pale straw yellow with a fine white head of soft foam that fell off rocky to a cap and ring. left lots of nice lace. Some yeast floating on top. Nose is honest and clean. Orange and lemon citrus, dank. malty grain and spice. A little pepper and floral. Slightly sweet pilsner scent. Really appetizing and continues to excite the nose as it warms with a musty quality and a little pine. Taste is light bread, malt forward and loses most of the fruit. It does give a quick but small hop bite, a little hay and earth. It finishes with pine and a little oily bitter; but not much, and wet not dry. There’s cracker in the aftertaste.

This beer had the best nose but in the drink it felt somewhat bland and muddled. It was very mild. Simple and not in a bad way. Light and drinkable.
