Commercial Description:
As invigorating as the morning rays of the summer sun, Sunrise Weissbier satisfies when the heat is on, too. This unfiltered, Bavarian style ale is true to its origins with all ingredients except for the water having been imported from Germany. It remains unfiltered to feature the tangy, fruity flavors of its unique yeast. The imported German malt contributes greatly to add a crisp, citric snap that makes this beer a superb summertime refresher.

A nice surprise in this one. Got home from a wedding reception and wanted another beer. A friend of mine had brought this one back from Philly for me. Reminded me more of a witbier than a weissbier. Nice citrus notes but also had some floral notes as the beer warmed a bit - some rose-like aromas. Very pleasant. Poured with a nice wihte head with nice even lacing and high carbonation. Yellow color on this nice sweet summer beer. I really enjoyed it. Another good offering from the brewers at Victory.

Pours a cloudy orange with a fluffy stark white head. Laces well with thick coats. Pleasant aromas of warm bread, orange marmalade, and a touch of clove. Yeastiness appears more as it warms. Flavors are also soft and pleasant with subtle fruitiness and a clovey feel. All characteristics are quiet yet reserved. Stately. Nicely balanced, with nothing sticking out in a reckless manner. Everything melds together and shines. Insanely drinkable. Drained quickly at Birreria Paradiso in DC’s Georgetown.

Cloudy Yellow Color with White Soapy Head. Citrus, Coriander and Yeasty Aroma. Light to Medium Mouthfeel. A Bit Sudsy and Dry...Suspect it to be a Bad Bottle. Still Some Nice Citrus and Light Spice Notes...Overall Dry Spice and Yeast Flavor Througout. Not a Hefe to be Drank Session Style, but a Nice Step up From There.

Strong flavor, good carbonation, classic german lemon gold color, light banana aroma, and refreshing aftertaste. A very good weissbier.
