Commercial Description:
As invigorating as the morning rays of the summer sun, Sunrise Weissbier satisfies when the heat is on, too. This unfiltered, Bavarian style ale is true to its origins with all ingredients except for the water having been imported from Germany. It remains unfiltered to feature the tangy, fruity flavors of its unique yeast. The imported German malt contributes greatly to add a crisp, citric snap that makes this beer a superb summertime refresher.

Yes, finally an American Hefe that actually resembles the beer style. Thanks Victory for ending my search. Aroma is yeasty with good notes of banana, clove, and vanilla. Pale gold pour with heavy carbonation. Immediate cloudy white head, but it quickly fades. Decent lacing, good haze from the swirled yeast. Medium body, filling yet crisp enough to be quenching. Drinkable and not too heavy. Great wheat and yeast content. Typical fruity banana with a noticeable clove flavor. Slight peppery bite rounded out by vanilla and almond flavors. Overall I’m giving this a high score for being a great American representation of this style.

Slightly hazed and nearly white, a pearish appearance, going on green, nearly, with a puffy, active crown of foam above. Sweet, then tart nose, loaded with citrus and spice...tons of orange and lemon, with that banana & clove kick in their, too....nice. Very refreshing, a blast of flavor, bitter, tart, then sweet and smooth. Plenty more hops in this than your average German Weissbier. Tart from the citrus flavors in the hops, bitter a bit, then just refreshing and delicious. Long, tart, citric, hoppy finish, medium bodied...

bottle. I really liked this weiss. A great crispness to it. Sort of tangy. A very good mix of spice, wheat, bitter and tang. I was a little surprised.

Pours a cloudy yellow with a big fluffy white head and some lacing. The aroma has some tartness with nice some nice spicy undertones. The flavor has a nice tart citrus zing to it with a bread-like wheat flavor with some citrus and spicy notes. Well-made beer.

Bottle. Spicy yeast on the nose. Just a hint of banana, dried hay, fresh cut grass and clove. Pours bright cloudy gold with a billowy white head. Dry spicy yeast on the palate. Sourdough crust. Very dry, spicy flavor. Mouth filling carbonation. Finishes spicy and dry.

Cloudy yellow body with plenty of white head. Nice wheat nose spicy clove undertones. The banana is there in the nose but very faint. Wheaty body with a crisp finish. Spice dominates the banana. One of the best I’ve had from this style.
