Quite clean & refreshing with a little nip on the finish. Pushing med bodied. HogTownHarry (3922), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada Mar 1, 2006 Bottle (12oz). Bottle from NY Sammny. Poured slightly hazy light yellow with an average fizzy white head. Very funky crushed mint hoppy aroma, with wit spice, tobacco ash and citrus - very sharp and fresh. Taste follows, even more lemon, some banana - quite sharply fizzy and astringent mouthfeel - very nice, terific patio beer. Thanks, Sammy! Cornfield (4892), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Feb 22, 2006 Good looking hefeweizen, a hazy straw body with lively carbonation and a tall fizzy white head. The aroma is a soft malt, wheaty, with bubblegum, bananas, and a lemon tang. Smooth. The flavor echoes the nose, the banana becoming a bit more pronounced, the lemon becoming more sharp in the finish. This would certainly be even more refreshing five months from now.
