Commercial Description:
As invigorating as the morning rays of the summer sun, Sunrise Weissbier satisfies when the heat is on, too. This unfiltered, Bavarian style ale is true to its origins with all ingredients except for the water having been imported from Germany. It remains unfiltered to feature the tangy, fruity flavors of its unique yeast. The imported German malt contributes greatly to add a crisp, citric snap that makes this beer a superb summertime refresher.

One of the best hefeweizens I have had. This beer is similar to the other great Bavarian hefeweizens, but with a nice crisp citrus flavor. This unfiltered beer is a hazy golden color. It has a nice large white head. The flavors are clove and citrus (mostly lemon with just a tang of orange) with just a hint of banana.

Needs more of a head. Darker than most, and unfiltered. Victory is so into hopping their beers that I was worried they’d overhop this weisse, but one taste and my fears were allayed. Like a ray of morning sunshine, this tangy, citrusy wheat really delivers on taste. It reminds me a tad of Capital Kloster Weizen, but less citrusy.

Awesome hefe, cloudy & hazy gold color, huge fluffy white head, yeast & banana in the nose, more yeast & banana in the flavors along with bubble gum & citrus notes, crisp & very drinkable, very enjoyable wheat beer, one of the best

This is just another fabulous brew from the boys at Victory. They got an absolute home run with this wheat beer. This wheat is free fo sediment and it has a fabulous crisp wheat taste. Refreshing and very reminiscent of the wheats of Bavaria, I would never know I was not drinking a fabulous German wheat. Close your eyes and you can really feel like your drinking in the Hofbrauhaus. I don’t even like wheat beers and this beer exceeded all my expectations and then some. One of the best.

Draft. Hazy yellow, nice head. Clove and banana aroma. Fruity flavor, with pear, touch of banana, and a balanced spice finish. This is a really well done German Hefe.
