Sep 3, 2007 Pours hazy yellow with a large head. The notes of orange peel and cloves push into the palate and thriugh the finish. I nice bitterness ensues and shows good balance.

Jul 8, 2007 Bottle from 2005. This bottle held up very well. Pours a cloudy gold with 4 finger airy head slowly giving way to a pleasent film. Lots of carbination, and the aroma of bananas. finsh’s with a spicy/tangy flavor. very nice american weiss

Apr 9, 2008 bottle. pours clear golden yellow with a nice frothy white head. we got this one one sale. it has been sitting around since last season, so it was pretty skunked. otherwise, a really nice wheat. the yeast is fruity, tart, and musty. nice crisp palate - high carbonation. not as cloudy as hefes come but in all a great summer beer.

Dec 13, 2009 Updated: Dec 14, 200912oz beer. Pours hazy golden orange. Head is very fluffy, white, and doesn’t hang around long. Lacing isn’t prominent either. Looks as if it may be a disappointing beer, but actually turns out to be exceedingly worth the price of admission... Aroma is somewhat dampened by the relatively age, but still smells of banana and all-spice. Flavor is where this one shines. Great orange/banana flavors. Little bit of sourness at the beginning, with a good amount of carbonation. A good beer.
And the kicker: I bought three six-packs of this stuff at $3.99 a piece. Wells Discount Liquor, thank you very much for keeping this stuff stocked well beyond the summer.

Jul 21, 2007 bottle. I really liked this weiss. A great crispness to it. Sort of tangy. A very good mix of spice, wheat, bitter and tang. I was a little surprised.

Glass:Weizen.
Appearance:Cloudy yellow pour with a two finger white head.
Aroma:Spices and wheat with a hint of banana and citrus.
Flavor:Wheat and cloves with a mild banana finish.
Palate:Light body with solid carbonation.
Overall:Excellent Hefe. A goto in the summer.
