COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s a lively jazz rhythm, a vigorous sway, a change of view or even a roll in the proverbial hay. Now it also means the welcome jolt of joy you’ll experience upon your first sip of this session saison. Bracing, but benign, this Belgian style ale enlivens any experience with a spicy, aromatic start, citrus snap and fresh finish. Swing into spring with taste!

Beerenberger (1364) - Fischer, Texas, USA - MAY 5, 2013
Aroma of spice, yeast, citrus, and hay. Pours a slightly hazy light yellow with a mostly lasting white he’d and abundant lacing. The taste, chiefly, has a light bitterness to it. Flavors of coriander, citrus, with peppery notes and a hint of earthy barnyard in the dry finish. There is a bitter hoppy aftertaste. Medium-light body with crisp carbonation. Overall, a nice Saison. Should go well with any number of dishes.

A lot of nice flavors going on in this easy drinking saison. The hops and spices blend well together.

brokensail (10530) - Orange County, California, USA - MAY 4, 2013
Pale golden pour with a soapy white head. Very peppery, phenolic nose. Tart lime and lemon zest, soap, and some hay. Coriander, dry malt, cracker, and bread. The flavor is quite dry and heavy on the spices. Big pepper and coriander notes, some citrus zest, and hay. Light bitterness, yeast, and a touch of tartness.

Pours clear yellow, lots of head. Nose is immediate skunk, like an import pale lager. Some floral notes, Belgian yeast, some lemon. Very light with light floral taste, orange, lemon, bread dough. Very good!

Hazy straw color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of yeast, floral, & pepper/spice; Flavor of malt, yeast, hops, pepper, and citrus (notably lemon); Finish is dry & fairly bitter; Nicely balanced; Not too shabby for a session ale.

12 ounce bottle pours a light golden color with aromas of light spicy yeast, some pepper, grass, coriander and some light malt. Flavors follow suit, extremely sesionable, decent beer overall.

Bottle. Funky with a light hop aroma. Clear golden body with thin head. Flavor begins spicy with hints of citrus and hops. A very light, crisp saison, dry and refreshing.

12oz Bottle, purchased at Wakefield Liquors - Wakefield, RI. For starters, I let myself get hosed for $1.99 to try something that I would hope was anything like a Dupont Avril. For a session Saison, this is a pretty lackluster Belgian Wit. WTF Victory? This is terrible. Orange, coriander, gross soap bomb, with almost no body. Officially done with Victory.
