Best before July 27, 2013.
Appearance: A tall and fluffy white head is perched on a slightly cloudy pale golden body. The head has excellent retention and is as dense as cream. Spotty lacing is left on the glass as it dissipates.
Aroma: The aroma is bright with lemon, straw, light spices and leather. This smells great, it reminds me of Spring.
Taste: This follows the aroma nicely with a bright lemon flavor that provides a slight tartness with some leather overlying the lemon that finishes dry. The lemon lingers on the tongue for a bit a touch tart and dry with a slight lingering spice. This is a bit reminiscent of sucking on a lemon.
Palate: Medium bodied with a creamy full texture, soft carbonation.
Overall: This is an outstanding session beer. There is no sacrifice in taste. If this were $7 for a 6 pack this would be all I would drink until itís gone for the season. This is still priced nicely at $9 for a 6 pack, I just wish it came out a few months later.

Bottle. Yellow color with a lot of white head. Smell is corn, malt, hop, LEMON, grass. Also smells dungy as in a swamp. Natural for sure, but something I donít want to smell in a beer. Taste is more subdued but very wheaty. Some lemon, malt, hop. Thin body and medium carbonation.

12 oz, chilled, poured into a pint glass. Pours a light straw color with a smallish crisp white head that dissipates almost immediately though small bubbles rise continuously. Aroma is a mixture of grass, barnyard, clear lemony citrus tones, and a nice hit of pilsner malts. The grassiness comes through in the taste along with some lemon followed by some piney notes hidden in the bitter. The finish is crisp and dry with a little bitterness.

UPDATED: APR 15, 2013 Bottle. Pours a pale, slightly hazy straw gold. Light, fluffy white head and good retention as well as lacing. Nose shows some sharp herbal and spice notes: sage, basil, grass, maybe coriander. Taste adds some white pepper and a nice grassy hop bite. A nice alternative to other session beers. A baby cousin to Saison du Buff with a splash of Prima Pils, perhaps.

12Oz bottle poured into pint glass nice One finger head with some lacing, floral, grass, barnyard, earthy taste but it doesnít work well. Itís like a mixture of Prima Pils, Helios ale and Whirlwind mixed into one. Not horrible but nothing I would put in my session rotation

UPDATED: MAR 21, 2013 On tap at brewpub. Pale clear gold with white head. Rotten eggs dominated and ruined this for me. Wheat, lemon, pepper, floral. Moderately bitter. Light, crisp body. Bumped up the score for the bottle. What I took for rotten eggs in the draft is like something else in the bottle. A tad disagreeable, but not awful. A lot of grapefruit as well as well as some butterscotch. Bumping up my score on this one. Iím starting to dig this as a session beer.

Hazy golde color with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of toasted malts, citrus, grass, spices, light pils malt. Taste of light honey, citrus, lemon, toast, spices, and a dry finish.

Pours a clear pale yellow with a thick white head...nice lacing and retention. Aroma has lots of lemon and some light herbal notes...a bit like thyme...touch of clove. Flavor has lots of grassy/spicy bitterness...still lemon and significant herbal notes. Mouthfeel is light and the finish is dry and herbal/bitter.

Bottle at landmark. Pours clear yellow with a small white head. The aroma Is very spicy.. Clove, lemon, and all kinds of other spices. The taste is ultra dry with some tart lemon, belgian yeast, orange peel. I love this.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy white colored bubbles that were and left behind a typically carbonated transparent white colored body and a fair lacing. The mild aroma was malt hop and grassy. The semi-thick crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start with a mellow finish with a mellow hoppy aftertaste. The mild flavor contained notes of softly acidic grass Irish red malt dough and malt.
