3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a hazy straw golden with a fair eggshell head that settles slowly and leaves some soapy, clingy lace. Nose involves zesty spice, peppery, light lemony citrus notes, some sourdough, and some floral stuff. Lightly sweet, decently bitter, not tart. Lighter bodied, fluffy, active, lightly oily, with a drying toasted doughy finish. Nice brew, enjoyable.

Clear gold pour with a white head. Strong pepper and clove aroma with some yeast. Taste again is very spicy with some yeast, earth, and vegetables. Prickly carbonation.

Oniony, garlicky, wheaty with Belgian yeast. Cloudy pour from bottle. It grows on you as become acclimated to it.

Definitely not my thing. Very light and sweet/sour. Looks like a coors light. Not recommended for my palate

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz. bottle. Pale golden pour with mild haziness. Medium, quickly fading head with decent lacing. Aroma is phenolic with lots of belgian yeast, bubble gum, and spice notes. Flavor is light, crisp, with a nice lingering belgian twang. Spice and citrus clean up the finish. Light bodied with zippy carbonation. This is quite nice.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle from Wegman’s, Buffalo. A hazy amber pour with a ring of white head; yeasty aroma with perhaps a hint of spice; clean citrus taste; with some quinine-like bitterness, and lingering citrus to finish. A good refresher.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured a clear yellow color with a thin white head that faded quickly. Lots of lemon and citrus in the aroma with spices. Taste has lots of spices with floral notes and more lemon. Finish is a little bit sweet with lots of lemon and nutmeg. Overall it’s very refreshing but a little too heavy on the lemon.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
My Bottom Line:
This estery Saison shares plenty of fruitiness and herbs in a lean and quenching mouthfeel.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slice of foam settles atop the misty yellow.
-This is just as flavorful as many 6%+ Saisons.
-Carbonation is not as fluffy and airy as I would have liked it to be (for this style).
-Herbal hop bitterness balances out the finish.
-Spices are well blended into the overall profile of the beer.
