2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a lightly cloudy golden straw. Flavor is strangely minerally and oddly sharp for the style. Mouthfeel is thin and watery. The spice from the yeast has no malty counterpoint making this a very unbalanced beer. Iím not sure if this style does not translate well to such a low abv or if this is just a poor effort from victory. Either way, I would not revisit.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours golden with a white head. Yeast, earthy notes, spices. The spices were a little overwhelming. They dominated the taste. I couldn't even finish it.

12oz bottle. Gold color. Aroma of hot dog flavored water & citrus. Thin body. Flavors of spice, and herbs (hotdogs), light citrus, and fizzy grain. Very fizzy carbonation. Saisons are not my favorite style.

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20
355 ml bottle from wegmans in Niagara Falls ny. Clear light golden with a lasting white head. Nice light fruity and spicy nose. The flavour is way over spiced making it pretty much undrinkable. Not a session saison at all. Boooooooooooooooo!

Well very light. Not a whole lot of taste. It would be good on the beach in place of a coors light.

2.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12Oz bottle poured into pint glass nice One finger head with some lacing, floral, grass, barnyard, earthy taste but it doesnít work well. Itís like a mixture of Prima Pils, Helios ale and Whirlwind mixed into one. Not horrible but nothing I would put in my session rotation

2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
UPDATED: JUN 3, 2013 Had again today, this time froma bottle, not bad at first but has a strong astringent aftertaste. raised from a 1.9 to 2. old rating: On tap at mad mex. Creamy head. Slight perfume aroma. Quite bitter, almost like an IPA. Chewing on green grapefruit rinds manifests itself on the back of the throat. Same with finish. Not impressed. Some mild co2. Was expecting something a little more saison like.

had in SYR, (comments day after)...verifies that Iím not big on saisons...definitely a lot of flavor from what I remember, but not in a good way...lots of spices that are too strong

12oz Bottle, purchased at Wakefield Liquors - Wakefield, RI. For starters, I let myself get hosed for $1.99 to try something that I would hope was anything like a Dupont Avril. For a session Saison, this is a pretty lackluster Belgian Wit. WTF Victory? This is terrible. Orange, coriander, gross soap bomb, with almost no body. Officially done with Victory.
