COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s a lively jazz rhythm, a vigorous sway, a change of view or even a roll in the proverbial hay. Now it also means the welcome jolt of joy you’ll experience upon your first sip of this session saison. Bracing, but benign, this Belgian style ale enlivens any experience with a spicy, aromatic start, citrus snap and fresh finish. Swing into spring with taste!

UPDATED: APR 15, 2013 Bottle. Pours a pale, slightly hazy straw gold. Light, fluffy white head and good retention as well as lacing. Nose shows some sharp herbal and spice notes: sage, basil, grass, maybe coriander. Taste adds some white pepper and a nice grassy hop bite. A nice alternative to other session beers. A baby cousin to Saison du Buff with a splash of Prima Pils, perhaps.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks Yoav. Hazy light amber with white ring. Spices, bubblegum and clove aroma, bitter and spicy taste. Medium body, sticky texture, bitter finish.

Aroma is great with good black pepper, rosemary and orange peel. Pours golden amber with a huge sudsy head. Taste is very spicy with the black pepper forward and a nice dry herbal bread finish. A fantastic session beer from victory.

Well very light. Not a whole lot of taste. It would be good on the beach in place of a coors light. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

355 ml bottle from wegmans in Niagara Falls ny. Clear light golden with a lasting white head. Nice light fruity and spicy nose. The flavour is way over spiced making it pretty much undrinkable. Not a session saison at all. Boooooooooooooooo!

Tap at Sunswick. Poured a thin clear yellow. Nose has some spice hint of hops. Light spice notes in an easy drinker that has a hint of hops. Pretty pleasant.

Draft at Union Transfer. Pours a cloudy yellow with white head. Notes of lemon peel, orange, pepper, yeast funk. Very flavorful for a session, lots of spice and citrus. Solid bitterness in the finish.

12oz bottle. Gold color. Aroma of hot dog flavored water & citrus. Thin body. Flavors of spice, and herbs (hotdogs), light citrus, and fizzy grain. Very fizzy carbonation. Saisons are not my favorite style. (3701)

This has been my go-to beer as of late. Sessionable is the key although it does start to get a bit estery after a few.

Pours a hazy yellow with a foamy off-white head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. A foamy curtain of lace coats the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, citrus zest, yeast, and spice aromas. Taste is much the same with strong citrus zest and spice flavors on the finish. There is a high amount of spice bitterness that lingers on the palate after each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer that is drinkable but the smell is much better than the taste in my opinion.

Pours a hazy yellow with a thins white head. Aromas of yeast and spice. Flavor is spicy with some of the Belgian yeast slightly coming through and some citrus but nothing really dominating the other. Overall not bad but nothing to write home about.
