Beautiful deep brown color - very slight haze and a bubbly head. Aroma of citrus fruit, caramel, and a hint of mint. well balanced and flavorful with stong malts, citrus, prunes, and some spice. Finishes strong and dry. Very nice offering.

Aug 19, 2008 Bottle. Caramel-sweet nose with some strawberry and raspberry fruit character. Clear pale red, thin head. Flavor opens sweet and estery, finished a bit harsh but with nice fruit esters. Gets more harsh as it warms.

Aug 19, 2008 Pours a dark amber color with an off white head. Aroma is very malty but with some hop undertones mixed in. Flavor is also very malty, but well balanced by the hops, nice dry crisp finish. The only complaint is a slight coppery taste. Nothing the stands out here but very drinkable, hides the alcohol well, and has a nice price.

Aug 14, 2008 This is a very crisp,clean, drinkable beer. Not assertively flavorful, but not boring either. The alcohol is well hidden making this one very enjoyable. Got more than I expected out of this one.
