3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Transparent gold, thin white head top, island, more lacing than Hallertau. Woodiest, dustiest nose of three, very rich malt, heavy toast, and light playdoh. Flavor disappointingly sharp by comparison, more vitamin c, dough, light orange and hop influence near the end. Palate too flat for bright profile, flattest of all three.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at the brew pub. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. The aroma Is light grain, maybe some grass or bread. The taste has a nice hop bitterness up front followed by some straw and grass. Easy to drink is an understatement.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On draft at Capone’s in Philadelphia.
The beer is hazy yellow with minimal head and lacing. The aroma is pretty weak, with some faint pilsner scents. The flavor is pretty good, with a healthy malt showing. Mild bitterness is present in the finish. Overall, a decent pilsner and pretty drinkable.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap at Meridian Pint as Victory Tettnanger Tettnang Keller Pils 4.7%. Pours a low haze glowing gold with weaker head formation. Spotty lacing. Nose is fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh sourdough biscuit, fresh pale malt grist. Taste is soapy, orange juice, fresh sourdough, fresh malt grist, crusty sourdough bread. Extreme herbal hop smack for balance to the point of pine and resin. Lemon juice, orange juice, lactic acid in back end. Very delicious.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were and left behind a typically carbonated transparent yellow colored body. The aroma was musty and malt hop. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish hoppy aftertaste. The nice flavor contained notes of mild citrus dough hops and malt. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again.

Golden in color, clear with a thin bubbly head. Nice hops and malt balance. Good hops flavor floral and the added malt makes for a tasty brew. Great summer beer.

Straw color with a white head. Pleasant noble hop aroma. Crisp bitterness on the palate. Medium body. Clean finish. A nice variation on an already great Victory pilsner.

Growler from Greens in Columbia. $10 for 64oz of Victory Pils? Yes please.
A. Goes into my Trumer Pils glass a very attractive, clear, (not crystal clear) yellow, with a fine white cap head and lots of active carbonation. Spotty lace, too.
S. Zesty, bitter grassy hops, dry, mineral water, lemon rind, more hop forward than most.
T. Extremely dry, with a dry finish. Bright, grassy green hop flavor with lemon-shock and just the barest hint of grain. A better pils than Prima, but I prefer mine a little wetter and malt characterful.
P. Spot on crisp carbonation, lingering bitter-lite / dry finish. Perhaps the driest Pils I’ve had... drinks very easy though, if you like this sort of thing.
O. A very good American take on a German style; I really dig these single hop Pilsners that Victory is cranking out. Give this one a shot if you can, it’s a fine warm weather beer.
