3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Crystal clear yellow with a white head. Cris earthy hops and a bit of toasted malt in the aroma. Crisp mouth- almost painfully crisp. Very nice. Taste is light but flavorful. Light earthy hops, a touch of malt, more crisp hops, light sweetness in the finish but mostly a medium bitterness. Real nice, really.

Hey Now! A good beer with a nice blend of caramel malts, strong german hop and yeast, all wrapped up with a nice dry finish. Well done.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at Capone’s. Served in a mini snifter.
Pour yields a very, very hazy yellow color with a very short head that refuses to rise no matter the number of swirls. The aroma brings some nice Tettnang hops with a bit of grain. Perhaps too much grain. The taste improves with a better hop hit and less straight grainy malt. Good bitterness and a light body. Dry finish. Pretty decent, though no match for Prima Pils.
Serving type: on-tap

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draft at Churchkey. Another excellent pilsner from Victory. A bit crisper and cleaner than prima pils. Cereal flavor seems a bit stronger as well. Overall a super dry hoppy pilsner. Very bitter, herbal finish.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Herbal and lemon hop nose, very light pine and wintergreen, just a touch of hay. The taste is fairly dry, extremely nice, crisp pale malts (just what I expect from a Victory lager), solidly hopped, again leaning slightly to the pine/wintergreen/mint end of the spectrum. Clean yeast. Fucks yeah. Love Victory.

On tap at Holy Smoke. Pours a clear lightly hazed gold with a medium sized white head. Crisp grain, and a touch of sweetness. Earthy and musky, almost a hint of cat pee, and some hops. Medium bodied, but it thins out quickly. Crisp grain and some sweetness. Slow gentle bitter finish.

On tap in a pint glass, Tettnang version. Pours a clear yellow. The aroma is very simple, earthy hops. The flavor is very similar.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at Bottleworks. Pours a light milky soft golden yellow with a pillowy white head. Nose is danky grassy hops, slightly tart saltine cracker, hints of citrus, with a touch of pink peppercorn. Big bubble, but condensed carbonation. Grassy, dank, funky gym sock hops that also have some west coast ipa characteristics. Some slight lactic tartness going on also. The Tettnangers also have some subtle noble pine and citrus that come out. Just a clean well made pils showcasing a single hop that I’m very unfamiliar with...nice stuff.

Sampled at Brewpub - labeled as Victory CBC Tradition Pils. Pours a clear yellow. Aroma is delicious. Taste is smooth and refreshing. This happened to be 10-12th sample in, thus the description suffers significantly.
