4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draught at maxís; they didnít specify, but Iím assuming that this is the current Tettnang Pils. Yellow body with a slight haze and a creamy head. Sweet malty aroma with really fresh, green, oily and fruity hops. Smooth and spicy flavor with fruity, green, oily hops, clean, light and bready malts and a smoothly bitter finish. Medium-light in body with a wonderfully smooth feel. Quite hoppy overall, but perfectly balanced and smooth in comparison to the more rough prima pils. might be the best pils (or keller?) that Iíve had yet.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tettnanger Pils, on draft at the brewpub. Sparkling gold in color topped by an inch of everlasting head. What an amazing head, that thing didnít lose a bit of heft over the course of the half hour that it took me to finish my .5L glass. Aroma and flavor are much more like a traditional German Pils than Victoryís other offerings. Cereal, craker, light herbal hops, and a touch of honey sweetness. A decent beer but nowhere near as impressive as some of their other offerings in the Pilsner department.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tettnanger Pils, i think its a bit odd that these beers are being listed as one beer... Clear golden pour with wonderful head, this brewery knows german style beer... Aroma is a bit fruity and bready... Taste is a bit less crisp than i would expect but a nice floral hoppy flavor nevertheless....

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
.5 liter mug at Victory listed as their Tettnang Pilsner. Pours a nice beautiful golden clear modest carbonation and a fluffy tacky white head and great lace. Aroma is a bit sharper with spicy tettnagn hops and just overall hoppier than the Saphir pils- malt is a bit more subdued but still fresh and delightfully bready. The tettnang is insanely fresh- killer spiciness, and a touch of floral character with some hints of fresh cut flowers and grass. Flavor is a nice crisp clean pils malt backbone and the hops take control with their fresh spiciness. Crisp and clean finish with a lingering hop tackiness.

Bottle (Tettnanger Pils)... RBSG Ď08... Lightly hazed, straw-colored lager with a small, creamy, white head. Very spicy, cat piss-like aroma. Medium-bodied and lightly creamy with supple carbonation. Pleasantly sweet; sufficiently bitter. Finishes bittersweet and then dries out big-time. Thanks to Greg Koch for breaking this one out for our table to try!

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Blind Tiger, Tettanger version. Aroma of grassy hops with medium bitterness on top of a mild sweet malt. Flavor begins with a luxurious sweetness with fruits in background and finishes on a playful, bitter hop note. Very tasty.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Blind Tiger, labeled Braumeister Tettnanger Pils. Pours a clear golden yellow with a small head. Aroma of light fruits and cocoa powder. Flavor of crisp sweetness, light flowery hops, lemon zest, sweet but not very fruity. Dry finish. When it warms, it is awesome--a superb balance of sweetness and hops. My favorite Victory brew to date.
