2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draught pint at Eulogy in Philadelphia. Pours pale and light golden in the darkness of the bar, with a smallish creamy white head, quick-diminishing....corn, faint grassy hops, a touch of dried lemon and herbs in the simple but tolerably pleasant nose....sweetish and to my taste closer to a Euro-style lager character, fairly light and refreshing while cold though with too little pale malt evident and virtually no hops....sticky and way too sweet when warmed a bit, reminiscent at that point of an above-average malt liquor. I don’t much appreciate even "good" malt liquors, so while I can accept Victory’s intentions in this "recreation", it’s still pretty lousy by their, or any good brewer’s, standards.

This one was a dead goose next to the V12 and Old Horizontal. Well its pretty much standrard issue stuff. Clear yellow appearance with some corn and a little bit of malt. This exists to keep the barflys playing pool happy and drunk. Its the cash cow beer. No thanks.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Tap at CAH. Pours a very light golden clear and a thin white head. Aroma is a touch of corn and vegetal, crackery and cereal notes, but still has some dough and fresh malt, very light hops. Flavor is more corn, dms, slight metallic and reminds me of a bad bud, with a bit of a twang in the end. When you make beers like the v-lager helles, there is no need to make something like this. Ugh.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Not a lager dude but I had to give it a shot. Pours a clear, medium gold body with a small, and I do mean small, white head. All malt aroma. Flavor is that of a cheap macro lager. Not my thang.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a pale yellowish color with a thin head. The smell is very bland nothing too intense to pick up. The flavor is maltyand has some bitterness. Overall carbonation is ok and is refreshing out of a keg.

Tap....you must be kidding me. Pours a pale golden color with decent carbonation. Smell is Saaz hops as if this were a pilsner...Taste is grainy with a slight hint of corn and absolutely nothing behind it. It seems like they were deliberately trying to make something that would evoke the crappy macrobrewed pale lagers, and they succeeded.
