3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask @ Victory. Golden-orange with a mild malty aroma and just a hint of hops. Flavor has a nice bready/biscuit quality with citrus hops in the background. Wonít knock your socks off, but great example of the style for this side of the pond.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On cask at the brewpub. Pale orange with a sweet and floral nose. The beer smells delicious. Served at the perfect temperature, too. Caramel malt sweetness with a bit of breadiness and some toasty hops with a lingering grapefruit presence on the tongue. Smooth and delicious with the a temperate level of bitterness.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
cask at the Downingtown brewpub. Very creamy head great color and aroma. A bit on the hoppy side but not too much. Kind of like an English Bitter with a little bit of hops for good measure. I hope to have this again.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Had several 20 ounce pints of this on cask at CommonWealth in DC. Pours a hazy, translucent orange, copper with a creamy, frothy slightly off white head. Aroma of oranges, lemons, biscuits, some soap and a little pine. Mild flavor has grapefruit, oranges, crackers and sugar cookies. Flat in the mouth, thanks to the cask, a little chalky with lasting bitterness. Good session beer.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap at Blind Tiger. Nitro pour, from what the owner said was a cask. Huh? Anyway, this had a mild soap, amber aroma, lightly hoppy. Disappointing pour for what was claimed to be nitro. Very mild flavor, hop-forward and overly carbonated. Decent if not dull.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask to nitro at Blind Tiger. Aroma has a mild but distinguished bitterness with grassy, soapy/perfumy, and floral notes. Flavor a wonderful mix of fruity sweetness and that perfumy bitterness. The nitro weakens the palate and strips away that cask-conditioned feel. Greatly enjoyable, but I’m confident I would have absolutely loved it without the nitro middle man.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On hand pull at the Victory brewpub. Pours golden amber with a dense, creamy white head. Smells lightly of caramel and earthy bitterness. Tastes of earthy, minty hops with a touch of caramel. Smooth and slick mouthfeel. Lovely.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Blind Tiger (nitro-conditioned cask). Pours a cloudy light with a nitro head. Aroma of light sweet malt and flowery hops. Flavor is initially fruity with a bitter hoppy finish. Super super drinkable and very tasty. I think the nitro works well with this beer and really makes it so smooth and drinkable. It would be interesting to try this sans nitro though. Excellent refresher.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at the brickstore. Pours a clear dark orange color. Toasted grain and bitter hops are the biggest elements here. A little more full bodied and maltier than most bitters Iíve come across. Some caramel malt character. Aroma is grassy, piney hop. Flavor gives you the bitter that you would expect from the style. An english style with an american spin. The american spin is the malt and body.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at <a href="http://www.brickstorepub.com/"> Brick Store Pub in Decatur. Pours copper and clear with a thin white head. The aroma is grassy with some honey and citrus - fruitier than expected from a sessionable bitter. The flavor is malty and sweet and has some hop character in the form of flowers and subtle grapefruit. More fruity esters along with fruity though subtle hop flavors emerge at mid-palate, side-by-side with sweet malts. The finish is full and malty with some citrus and earthy hop bitterness. Overall, a very nice, drinkable session beer, but much sweeter and fruitier than I expected per the style (Iíve been to London, and most bitters there were earthier and less sweet).
