Draft. A pretty true-to-form ESB. Dry malt aromas, tame hops, and some buttery grains. Soft palate. Clean finish. A little soapy, but appropriately American. Drinkable and not bland. Copper penny in color.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at the Birreria Paradiso in DC. Orange amber-brown color. Nice head. Mellow carbonation and low alcohol make this one quite smooth and true to style. A creamy amber spice character/flavor. Very enjoyable. Nice fuggles hop aroma.

Bach party, on cask. Love this style. Just another good Victory beer that I wish I could have drank all day. Reasonably good flavor for a bitter.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Mostly hazy amber with a thin head for a cask pour.... mild bready aroma with some malt, no hops... Touch fruity sweet flavor with more mild bready malts... Thin but quite drinkable...

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On cask at Teresa’s Next Door during Philly Beer Week. Poured a hazy golden color with a big fluffy white head. Hops are fresh on the nose but a little dull, yet still inviting. Flavor has a nice malty base and a nice hoppy flavor without the bitterness. I really liked the palate. Low carbonation, medium bodied, smooth and very easy to drink. Wouldn’t mind having a cask of this on hand during the hot summer months.

Cask @ Victory. Golden-orange with a mild malty aroma and just a hint of hops. Flavor has a nice bready/biscuit quality with citrus hops in the background. Won’t knock your socks off, but great example of the style for this side of the pond.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On cask at the brewpub. Pale orange with a sweet and floral nose. The beer smells delicious. Served at the perfect temperature, too. Caramel malt sweetness with a bit of breadiness and some toasty hops with a lingering grapefruit presence on the tongue. Smooth and delicious with the a temperate level of bitterness.

cask at the Downingtown brewpub. Very creamy head great color and aroma. A bit on the hoppy side but not too much. Kind of like an English Bitter with a little bit of hops for good measure. I hope to have this again.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Had several 20 ounce pints of this on cask at CommonWealth in DC. Pours a hazy, translucent orange, copper with a creamy, frothy slightly off white head. Aroma of oranges, lemons, biscuits, some soap and a little pine. Mild flavor has grapefruit, oranges, crackers and sugar cookies. Flat in the mouth, thanks to the cask, a little chalky with lasting bitterness. Good session beer.

Tap at Blind Tiger. Nitro pour, from what the owner said was a cask. Huh? Anyway, this had a mild soap, amber aroma, lightly hoppy. Disappointing pour for what was claimed to be nitro. Very mild flavor, hop-forward and overly carbonated. Decent if not dull.
