3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Had this on cask today at the Victory Brewpub. This is my first cask beer.
Served in a nonic pint glass. A golden orange color somewhat hazy with a finger and a half of super creamy super pillow soft head that hugs the side of the glass for dear life.
Smell is pretty light but i guess thats expected for 3.9% abv. Light floral and caramel and some fruitiness.
Taste is light flowers and also some berry presence. Almost like a hint of strawberry or something like that.
Crazy smooth mouthfeel. Almost like liquid air. Iím sure its the way cask brew are but this thing is creamy and super easy to drink.
Like i said at 3.9% combined with the super smoothness, i could drink about 20 of these things. (except for the fact its $4.00 a pint).

Cask at Maxís. Pours clear amber with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is toast and grain malt, earthy and herbal hops. Flavor is malt and hop balanced, and a dry finish. Light body and medium carbonation.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Final beer of the evening at Victory brewpub. Ordered on-cask and served in a English pint glass, hazy orangy dark-golden color with white head. Aroma of pale malt, some citrus hops and a light herbal note. Taste brought out notes of more fruity citrus hops, some caramel, toasted bread, grass and some earthiness. Light body, low carbonation, doughy, sticky with slightest herbal sweet finish. Good bitter.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a soft and somewhat hazy orange gold with one finger of off white head. Nose is weird, herbal and clashing hops. Diacetyl and biscuity grain. Showing diacetyl in the flavor as well. Awful flavor. Extremely bitter and astringent. Grating finish. Bleh

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On nitro at Lizardville, Rocky River. Good lace and creamy. Bitterness is OK, I would like more of it. For when you want a less bitter beer.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 10/20
Tastes like dull malt and bland bitter hops. Not very good - very flat and lacking depth.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
On cask. Aroma of dusty altbier, skunky lager, and slight rye. Pours ugly red brown with a weird root beer head. Fades to nothing and looks like fake iced tea. Taste is meh with rye and lager notes. pretty sub par and forgettable.

3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft @ Victory brewpub. Unassuming at first, no real aroma to speak of. Spot-on balance between malt and hop and just a touch of carbonation. There?s actually a little citrus/cannabis from the hops, but the best thing here is the texture - it should be noted I?m saying this after a week and a half in England.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
The aroma is bready, caramel, lightly spicy. The appearance is translucent amber, white head. The flavor is very hoppy, citrus, flowers, some caramel, and bread dough. The finish is flowers, resin. Medium to medium/thick in body. Interesting. Glad to try an unusual style.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draft at Gingerman. Light bodied, low carbonation, nearly flat. Creamy palate. Nicely balanced. Smooth, round finish with mild bitterness. Has some redeeming qualities, just very bland.
