zappafan99 (256), Rock Hill, South Carolina, USA Jul 3, 2008 Updated: Jul 4, 20087/3/8 Clear urine color. Aroma of a country field. Nice buttery malt taste. My brew is old by the date on the bottle. The hops are crisp and the finish dry. Not worth $11 a sixer. rocbyter (594), Waterbury, Connecticut, USA Jun 21, 2008 Strong grain aroma. Clear light golden color with some white foam. Grainy bitter taste in the beginning with a mild sweet finish. Stick palate. MaltDawg (224), Richmond, Virginia, USA Jun 9, 2008 Off taps Capital Ale House.Very clear pale straw with small white head.
Faint carmelized malt aroma. Flavor of pale malts and corn grainyness. Hop flavor is not noticable but a touch of hop bitterness in the finish which is fairly dry. bp (256), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 7, 2008 Bottle: pours a clear, golden amber color with a quick disappearing thin white head, not much of an aroma, taste is very mild - just a bit of malt, thin mouthfeel. I guess when you are used to drinking complex brews this has a hard time standing out. A good replacement for a Bud though if you are trying to ween someone off macros. dmac (799), Toms River, New Jersey, USA May 22, 2008 12 oz bottle purchased at Spirits RB. It’s about time I rated this since I am almost done with the whole 6 pack. Pours a clear pale golden yellow with a smallish bright white foamy bubbly head, lots of large bubbles cling to the side of the glass and rise from the center also. Grainy cereal aroma with a slight touch of white grape and sweetness. Thin bodied with lots of bubbly carbonation. Flavor, although mostly grains and cereal, has a nice touch of sweetness to it. This might not be the best beer out there but it sure hit the spot after almost four hours of yard work.
