Pours a bright, clear yellow/light gold, with moderate white head about an inch thick. Retains for a few minutes, then quickly vanishes, leaving no lacing. Typical weak lager appearance.
My nose detects scents of lemon, citrus, grains and light malt. A little weird, but has character.
Mouth absorbs faint traces of malt and graininess. A slight acidic and bitter citrus-like edge near the end of tasting. probably from hops. Fairly light-bodied, with your typical lager high carbonation.
As you may know I am generally not a fan of plain olí lagers(the non-pilsener and non-Oktoberfest kind), so I did not expect much from this. That said, it is what it is. Not supposed to be extraordinary, just an everyday-type session brew. Itís rather average at that, because I know thereís better offerings in this style out there.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Appearance: hay colored, slightly hazy, with a short, fizzy vanishing white head. Aroma: grass, hay, light and sweet grains, a hint of lemon. Taste: a little bread, some grass, and a hint of floral hops. Finish: short, soft, and clean. Notes: A perfectly acceptable lager, but perfectly inconspicuous as well. I love a good lager, but there just wasnít a lot to this one. It was about a month past the expiration date, so maybe Iíll try it again at some point.

Honey and pilsner malt aroma. Bitter bite, some grassiness. White pepper finish. Tasty enough for a lager, but still a bit boring.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at the brewery. Aroma of sweet malts, pours golden larger in color, 1 inch white head, taste of sweet malts, citrus, bitter hop balance. Sweet malty aftertaste, full body brew. This one is a definite, easy to drink clean, crisp, refreshing flavor.

I was shocked to see some of these low ratings for this brew. What else do you want from a lager? This beer is perfect, right on style! I donít get it; some beers regardless of the taste, but because of the style (IPAís Belgium) get high ratings, when lagers continue to receive low ratings. This is a great beer!!! However, I do agree with Cheapdark, the price is too high for this brew!

Youíre pretty much guarenteed that if it is a beer from Victory Brewing in Pennsy, then whatís inside will at least be true-to-style and a decent effort.
This lager pours a nice, deep yellow, with a very good head on it that stays to the bottom of the glass. Nice carbonation; not too much, not too little. Nice grass-like hop nose, with some malty-bread-like aromas peeping through.
Excellent baked bread flavor, with some good sourish yeasty notes. The hops are very well done, being there, but combining in harmony with the malt, not overpowering it.
This is one of my favorite American craft brewed beers... with one caveat! Careful not to pick up a batch that is past itís "best by" date. I donít know if this is the carrierís fault, but I do seem to find quite a bit of this beer nearing, or past its "best by" date. When fresh, it is an American gem!!
