1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 cazort (456) - Newark, USA - AUG 13, 2009
(Bottle) I am not impressed. Sweet, creamy, a bit of an unpleasant sourness characteristic of most macro-brewed lagers. This beer tastes more like one of the better macro-brewed "pale lager" and honestly if you wrote " rolling rock" or something comparable on it I might not even notice. This beer is surpassed by a number of not-so-great lagers, such as Yuengling’s Lager, in my opinion. I will pass on this one.

Poured a nice golden colour with a fleeting pure white head. Straight-forward lager. Refreshing.

Poured a yellow color. Medium head that dissipated off. Aroma of grains. Light sweetness, not much bitter. Smooth. A good lager (if your a fan of lagers).

12oz very cool retro-WW2 label. Pale clear yellow with a decent-sized fizzy/foamy white head, not a lot of bubbling. Honey and heather with a fair amount of sharp grassiness, no corn or paper - bit of biscuit malt too. Tastes of lemon grass and honey, no alcohol, undertone of light cereal grain - not a go-to style for me, but crack this in a can and I would buy them during the summer as a low-intensity maintenance quencher. Chewy, decent body, strong carbonation yet soft on the palate - quick-finishing with a dry, grassy aftertaste, ultimately not all that sweet.

Bottle. Pours clear yellow with no head - almost Budweiser appearance. Smell is virtually scentless.. a little bread in there. Taste is very light.. a little bit of yeast taste.. but nothing you’d call flavorful. This is not awful.. but it’s a far cry from the Prima Pils, etc.

Light yellow beer with a fresh and airy malt aroma. Bready taste that is almost bitter, but mainly sweet. Crisp but not biting. Simple and effective beer.

UPDATED: JAN 17, 2012 Bottle. Pours a clear gold with fizzy white head. Aroma of light grain with subtle mild hop. Flavor is nice and clean with well balanced flavors of grainy malt and nice mild, light citric hop. Light body with medium-high carbonation....overall, I could drink this every day!
2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 pilgrimoutlaw (273) - Wayne, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 9, 2011
Was in the mood for a lager last night, so I drank a bottle that I had gotten from somewhere. Pours pale blond with thin head. Aroma of hay and metal. Minimal bitterness and a little bit sour. Body was thin and mostly flat. Don’t know if this was a bad batch or what. Frankly, I’d have preferred a can of Coors Light.

felt like it tasted no different than a miller lite. clear yellow color, almost too filtered. tasted like beer-flavored water, had no hop or bite whatsoever.
