355ml bottle (GBBF2011)
Honey and pilsner malt aroma. Bitter bite, some grassiness. White pepper finish. Tasty enough for a lager, but still a bit boring.

hopscotch (9161) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - OCT 13, 2005
Bottle… Clear yellow lager with a small, fizzy, white head. The nose is of straw, butterscotch/toffee with a suggestion of jalapeno. Malty, sweet flavor with a touch of honey. Mildly hopped. Medium-bodied and creamy with lively carbonation. Finishes lightly sweet and grassy.

hopdog (8940) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 17, 2004
Poured a light yellow and an averaged sized head. Aromas of musty, yeast and wet grass. Light and sweet tasting. Too light for my tastes. I like Victory beers a lot, but this is on the bottom of my list.

Sammy (8636) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 4, 2005
mediocre malty lager. But of head, something people watching a hockey game would down without thinking, or tasting. Malty, significant carbonation.

12 ounce bottle. from Beer Run in Charlottesville. VA. Pours a very clear golden color with a thin head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma is toasted grains, caramel and light grassy notes. Taste is toasted malts, light fruit notes including apricot and apple and light caramel. Medium bodied with fairly lively carbonation.

GT2 (8434) - San Diego County, California, USA - FEB 26, 2009
330 mL. Pours piss yellow with not even a one-finger head that dwindles to nothing. No lacing. Aromas of grass, corn, orange blossom honey. Taste is bubbly upfront with some light honey and cereal grain with a powerful blast of white sugar and then turns slightly acidic and astringent with some barely noticeable balancing dry hops more reminiscent of freshly cut grass. Overall lackluster, bland, nothing to rave about.

12 oz bottle. Pale golden and slightly hazy. Fresh light malt, fresh bread. Very clean with only a hint of floral hops. Palate is a bit thin and watery, but the beer isn’t bad. I’ll take a Prima Pils over this any day though.

Quick rating. I just slammed this thing in like 40 seconds because it’s hot outside and I was thirsty. You could smell the bottle along with some corn and grain scents, sweaty and fluffy with some yeast character. Wet, slick, then crisp with flavors of biscuits and grains. Good stuff, a little old in the bottle though but still ok.

Pours dark gold/straw. Aroma of malt, lemon, slight honey, and wheat. Tastes malty, with a crisp citrus, hop finish.
