COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Previously known as All Malt Lager (Helles) & V Lager

There was a time when all beer tasted this good. Back when immigrant Brewmasters turned fresh malts and hops into liquid gold. Before big business lessened our precious beer with corn and rice. Having trained in Germany, we thirst for better beer. So, we brew better beer like this crisp, golden, helles-style lager. Brewed with patience from quality German malts and hops, it is a Victory for Your Taste!

Malt: Imported 2 row German malts

Hops: Whole flower German hops

Bottled. Poured clear, rather pale straw golden with a short cap of white head. The aroma picked up soft sourdough bread and earthy notes with dry, spicy accents of white pepper and dried hibiscus.. very pleasant and well-balanced. The flavor found bready and other pale malts at the core, with just a faint hint of cardboard.. prickly carbonation and dry earthy character surrounded.. lemony sourness over bread on the finish. Lighter-bodied with too much tight, sharp carbonation on the palate.. somewhat stale feeling as it warmed up.. overall a solid drinker.

12-oz., trade w/BeachBum25. Pours a beautiful bright straw color with a mild, yeasty nose on top of a light, foamy, white head. Mild, neutral flavor from the attack through the finish--totally refreshing and drinkable beer. Thanks for the bottle!

pours clear bright yellow with a small white cap, little retention and lacing. grassy noble german hops, fresh maltiness and cereals - slightly corny, hint of sulfur, some fruitiness, chalky and slightly dusty/minerals. hint of cardboard and lemon. moderate carbonation, light body, dry crisp and lightly bittering herbal-grassy finish. quenching. underwhelmed by its macro-allure. o-k, still..

Bottle, enjoy by 11/9/04: Pours a clear pale yellow golden with a thin covering of white head. Aroma of mild pale malt and a faint noble hoppiness. Body starts with a faint sweetness, some grassy hoppy notes and a smooth, mildly bitter finish. Very refreshing and drinkable and little signs of oxidation even after a year. Thanks IMtheOptimator!

Bottle [12oz]. Pours a clear, very pale yellow-gold with an average size lasting frothy white head. Aroma of corn, grain, biscuity malt and very light hops, too light in fact. Only slightly watery flavour is grainy and slightly sweet along with corn, biscuity malt and light hops. Very mild bitter finish. Average bodied. I’m not a big fan of Lagers but I’ve definitely had much better ones then this, this is average at best -- in short: Boring.

Aroma : traditional straight golden malt aroma, grainy lager with light scent of hop.6+
Appearance: great shade of gold with medium light white top.3-
Flavour and Palate: medium bodied. First sip tells all, perfectly prepared malt work. Its roundness, just enough carbonation inside with touch of hop. If not the label I would never believed this was brewed in USA. Perfectly balanced, softer than German counterparts, still crisper than Czech ones and fuller and more malt sided than most Polish micros. This is truly benchmark brew as for golden pale lager.

Not a lot going on here. Some crisp malt, paper aroma. Golden pour. Just what you would expect it to be. Bottle pour sampled at whole foods.

Bottle. Pretty good, basic beer. Pale in color, and nice in flavor. Finishes pretty well in my opinion.
