| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 14, 2008 Light fruity nose, with hints of sweetness. Pours a reddish-amber, with very visible carbonation, and a big fluffy slightly off-white head. Flavor is slightly sweet, with hints of yeast, but comes across hot. Some time letting this settle may help it out some. joshwilfong (776), Cleveland, Ohio, USA

A surprisingly good Belgian style ale. Victory has impressed me once again and has produced a solid, authentic tasting Belgian ale that has great balance, sweet malt, and a nice yeast flavor. I enjoy the carbonation and the finish. Oh yeah, and the ABV is well hidden. I wouldn’t have guessed it was 12%. sleepylopes (313), New York, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jul 12, 2008 this beer is big, at %12 ballance is hard to master. They did not quite pull it off. Beyond that its nice, pours light peach with a small head. Aroma is spice and malt. A touch sweet and thick. A bit medicinal and ping at the finish. It improves as I drunkin. 12many (231), Ohio, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 12, 2008 Bottle. Once again this brewery has impressed me. This reminded me of Merry Monks by Weyerbacher except that it was improved upon in almost every way. Malty aroma with a very smooth sweetness. Alcohol is hidden extremely well. Very nice from these guys. SuzyGreenberg (1324), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Jul 10, 2008 750 ml bottle - spent about 10 months in my fridge before opening; thin head and clear, reddish amber; aromas of candy and stale malts; very sweet and juice-like texture; thin body; flavors of yeast, plums, spice and slate lemons; first impression is that i waited this long for this? haha; pretty sweet, but texture is mildly off putting and overall kind of blah SuperDave70 (1157), Beautiful Sunny Mesa, Arizona, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 8, 2008 Sampled at Bockyhorsey’s Bocky Bash on 7-5-08. Last one of the night! Hazy copper color pour with a small foamy head. Malt, light fruit, yeast, hops and alcohol in the aroma. Fruit doesn’t come through in the flavor as much. Nice hoppy finish. A good ending for a great night! Fish guts are good for azalia bushes.
