COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
So simple in its creation, so magnificent in its maturity, this wonderful ale begins with Nature's most humble offerings, water, malted grains and hops. Our soulful yeast breathes life and depth into each brew. The steady hand of time orchestrates this alchemy into the splendid ale before you. Cheers!

nice fluff of orangish foam fades too quickly. I smell sugar, sawdust, almost orange. clear orange-amber body. candi sugar, almond. cleaner and sweeter than any malt liquor. alcohol and warming. not my kind of brew, but a well-turned example.

75cl bottle from Whole Foods (Tampa, FL). Pours a dark amber orange with one finger white head that settles quickly. Aroma is sweet and malty with notes of honey, yeast, grass, light brett, sweet grapes, caramel, light notes of spice, some slight funk. Flavor is sweet and malty with notes of caramel, grass, hay, yeast, honey, toffee, light floral esters. Medium body with a pleasing sweet malt finish.

pours out honey dark gold with a finger thick head that was frothy and beige in color. the body is clear and has a really bright amber color with a good amount of carbonation rising up on the edges of the glass. the head settled to a bone gray cap and produced some delicate lacing. the aromas are kind of spicy and has a nice fruit note. there is some toffee along with candy sugar, and some roasted malts. it is medium bodied and is pretty smooth in the mouth. it has a nice alcohol note that is pretty potent. its kind of complex and very balanced with flavors including some bitterness from the hops, some roasted malts, slightly sweet, and finishes almost dry. the aftertaste is a little week but sticks to your tongue, but mainly in the back and the roof of the mouth. very enjoyable session beer.

Pours a clear orange-amber with a medium-sized ivory head that collapses after a minute. Aroma is nicely hoppy, with sweet floral aromas, and candy sugar. Creamy aroma too; pretty complex. Flavor comes in very sweet at first, then you get a bitter hop bite and alcohol. Pretty sugary sweet throughout. Gladly the hops hold this thing together for the most part, or else it would be a syrupy mess. Velvety mouthfeel, sticky finish. Overall, good to very good.

13th September 2008. Clear brown ale. Sweet malt with a porty and brandyish warming dry finish. Noticeably alcoholic but pleasantly so!

750ml. amber with a small fading head. aroma has distinct notes of hops, booze, and malty sweetness. Flavor is sweet malty with a very dry finish. Big Punch, big brew, lot to handle. Maybe a little too much to handle.

Pours orange/copper with a fluffy beige head and an earthy aroma of eggs and fruit. The flavor starts with malt sweetness, but soon turns sour with a bitter, slightly astringent finish. A bit too strange for my taste.

I was very disappointed with this one. I might have let it age to long it was bottled in 9/06 and I tried 11/09. It was still very sweet with a lot of carbonation but it had a bitter aftertaste that did not go with the floral taste and smell. I was expecting more since it was made by victory.
