COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
So simple in its creation, so magnificent in its maturity, this wonderful ale begins with Nature's most humble offerings, water, malted grains and hops. Our soulful yeast breathes life and depth into each brew. The steady hand of time orchestrates this alchemy into the splendid ale before you. Cheers!

Bottle. Pours a lovely hazy golden amber. Very delicate thin white head. Aroma was a bit sweet, with some citrusy hints over the caramel. Flavor is excellently balanced with a full bodied sweetness and a citrusy bitter that is neither full on citrus or drying bitter. Very smooth and deceptive of its 12%....you will not taste the 12% coming!

Wow this actually one of the best beers I’ve had lately. Aroma is sweet caramel, raisins and cherries. Pours a rich amber orange with good size head that lasts. Taste is rich sweetness with just the right amount of bitter for a beer of this depth.

Sampled from a 750ml brown corked bottle this beer poured a cloudy orange-caramel color with a large very creamy orange-tan head that lingered forever and left great lacing. The aroma was sweet sugar, caramel, ripe golden fruits and vodka. The flavor was strong tangy candied golden fruits, sugar, bread, caramel and pepper. There was a moderate booziness throughout. The finish was long and tangy with lingering sugar and fruit. Full bodied. Nice.

Sample at Ale Wine & Spirits in Powell on 08/19/2011. This beer pours a hazy reddish-copper color with a medium light tan head that diminishes steadily. Rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of grainy malt, yeast and spices. Full body with flavors of sweet malt, spices, hops and some tart fruit. The finish is sweet malt and candied fruits and leaves a yeast aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Pour is a decent copper. Smell is ok a little banana with a hint of funk. Taste is really good with strong sweet madly earthy and slightly tart good beer.

One of the best Belgium style beers that I’ve tasted. Pours amber in color, with off white head, that lace throughout the drink. Caramel taste, good balance of Belgium spicy hops and malts. Hop bitter, alcohol finish. It is a 12% abv beer, but only a slight warm feeling in finish that reminds you of that. Excellent brew!

Amber pour with decent white head. Some lacing. Aroma is sweet, hoppy, and tart fruit. Medium body. Malty sweet with fruit. Bitterness almost balances sweetness.A tad syrupy. Alcohol apparent. Good beer but alcohol overshadows the flavor.
