A distinctly malty beer with notes of honey. It's definitely on the sweeter side for an ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From a bomber. Pours out a light copper and makes a medium beige head. Aroma is of caramel, booze, and brown sugar. Tastes of dark fruits, malted barley, and yeast. A very good interpretation of the Belgian quad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from the source, cellared for about six years, although the "bottled on" date is blank. Chillhazy amber color, big fluffy very light tan head. Aroma has caramel candy, vanilla, light spice. Taste is lightly peppery sweet caramel and brown bread. Silky smooth mouthfeel with little hint of booze. Delicious.

Cloudy, orange-brown with frothy off-white head. The aroma has apricot and white grape with a hint of cheese. It has a full, smooth body with average carbonation. The taste is sweet and boozy with a warm finish.

Pours a hazy copper with a thick off-white head that dissipates to a clumpy lace. Aromas of candied fruit, toffee and a bit of grass.Toffee, stewed fruit, spice, grass, earthy hops, bready tones and black pepper in the flavors. Noticeable booziness. Lively carbonation. Peppery mouthfeel. Quite good.

750 ml corked and caged bottle, bottled on 09 NOV 2015. Served in a DFH Signature glass, the beer pours a slightly hazy copper color with about an inch and a half off-white head that stayed around for a really long time. There’s also a lot of lacing. The brew smells like dark fruit (plum, raisins), caramel malt, peppery spice, and some clove. Taste is similar to the aroma, the brew tastes like plums, raisins, banana, pears, peppery spice, clove, dried fruit and bready malt. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it’s a bit creamy and coating with a moderate amount of carbonation. It was also smooth and easy to drink. I thought this was good, overall. It’s not my favorite quad out there but it’s certainly worth trying. $7.99 a bottle.

Bottle. Over-ripe orange/apricot, caramel malt, grass/fresh hay, and alcohol aroma. Cloudy amber with small head. Very sweet apricot, orange, yeast, caramel malt, and mildly bitter herbal hay flavor. Moderately strong alcohol finish. A pleasant sipper.
