3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Jblauvs (1264) - Dover, USA - OCT 25, 2009
Hazy Orange pour with a thin, lasting white head. Aroma is Yeasty, Some Candi sugars and some spicey fruit. Flavor is sweeter than the aroma, brown sugar and date fruit. A touch of yeast gives it a bit of spiciness. The alcohol is very well masked but gives the beer a robustness. Relatively simple but a good brew
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Aurelius (3077) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JAN 28, 2012
Mostly clear, light tea colored brew with a very large fluffy head. Fair label. I really enjoyed the aroma - a ruddy malt character to it, with good hop edge. Vaporous alcohol. Sweet, with a red ale character and woody alcohol bitterness. Cereal and slightly medicinal aftertaste - very warming follow-up. Unctuous body. ABC Likkas, Kerry Forest Pkwy.

Hazy copper with a thin but persistent beige head. Syrupy full body with medium-high carbonation.
Aroma: bready, warm alcohol, dark fruity yeast esters, and a bit of herbal hops. Reminiscant of an Austrian doppelbock.
Taste: Lots of toffee sweet pale malt up front, herbal grassy hops and heavy yeastiness in the middle, and warm alcohol and fruity esters that linger in the finish.

Dark red/orange colour with small white head. Fruit and spice on the nose. Taste was smooth for 12%. Would get this again.

Aroma is a very sweet hop. Taste is also a sweet hop dominated by a fruity malt and lots of alcohol. Overall not my style.
4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 polomagnifico (845) - Saginaw, Michigan, USA - DEC 30, 2011
Bottle. Aroma has notes of sweet caramel malts, sweet dried dark fruits, nuts, flowers, roses, white and red grapes, tropical fruits and citrus hops. WOW! Medium hazy redish orange hue with an average sized white foamy head that lasted and left great lace. Flavor is heavy sweet and medium bitter. Palate is very full bodied and oily soft. Wow! What a brew! I don’t generally like BSA’s but this is so wonderful! I love the complex aged malt nose with just the right amount of bittering hops. Incredibly well done and under rated IMHO. Thoroughly enjoyed this brew! Wonderful!
