3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 can8ianben (1229) - Souderton, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 16, 2012This rating is for the 2012 version, which is more like a pale ale than a brown ale. Coffee in the aroma and flavor, but a golden/amber color and lighter mouthfeel. Really nice and not heavy as most coffee beers go.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 ttutony (570) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 25, 2013
Light brown in the glass. Coffee aroma. On the palate it reminds me of eating chocolate covered espresso beans. A little thin on the finish. Interesting.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 PhillyCraft (1964) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 19, 2012
On tap at P house, pours a nice lighter brown, with small to medium head. Alright lacing, notes of nuts, coffee, and roasted malts. Hops are there in the flavor, nice beer from Victory.
2.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 kimjongill (180) - - NOV 16, 2012
From tap. Pours a bit lighter/clearer than I’d like a brown ale to be. Only the slightest malt/coffee aromas. Mouthfeel is terribly thin on the palate. Overall, not a good flavor. The brown ale and coffee flavors do not come together. I got a pint and ended up leaving a good bit of it to be poured down the drain.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Sweetone (32) - USA - OCT 24, 2012
Draft- pours light brown w/ off white foamy head. Aroma is more coffee than beer. The opposite goes for the flavor. Fairly run of the mill brown ale that definentaly benefits from the coffee addition. Mouthfeel is medium & finish holds a good amount of coffee flavor.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Dogbrick (6022) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - NOV 13, 2011
On draught at La Cave du Vin. The beer is a clear light brown color with a medium thin and foamy light beige head that recedes steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted coffee and malt. Light to medium body with a roasty coffee character and notes of sweet malt and faint hops. The finish is mildly bitter with a lingering coffee aftertaste. Above average overall.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Tmoney99 (8778) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 29, 2011
Tap sample at CBW. Poured clear brown with an average off-white frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy sweet roasted coffee aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture with flat carbonation. Medium sweet coffee smooth flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. I would recommend this to a freind.
