COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A swirling dynamo of flavor, with a steady calm of satisfaction at its heart, that's Whirlwind Witbier. Offering a tamed tempest of flavors both spicy and sublime, this softly fermented ale greets the nose and tingles the tongue. Imported Belgian yeast charges Whirlwind with an energy all its own. It is a refreshing interpretation of the classic, Belgian 'white beer' style.

Shitty coriander nose. Cloudy yellow, full of floaties of varying sizes, thin white head despite an aggressive pour. Coriander flavor, less shitty than the aroma. Thin, light, soap lemony. Mouthfeel is a little harsh, even for the style.I feel like I’m rating this too harshly, but it really did have some detractors. Witbier is more than just coriander thrown in a spritsy beverage and that’s how this tasted.

Bottle at Zen Forest (New Port Richey, FL). Pours a hazed golden yellow with a huge, dense, foamy white head. Aroma has a good amount of Belgian yeast and lemon zest. Flavor is refreshing and pairs quite well with the crunchy vermiccelli salad with calamari. The palate has a light but lively fizzy carbonation.

Pours a hazy bright yellow. A zesty yeast and banana aroma. Has a faint but noticeable zing to it and then fades to a dry finish. Refreshing but a little on the plain side. I still like it a lot though and would drink it any time.

Pours a pale yellow color with a white fizzy head. Smells of bananas and wheat! Maybe some yeast too! Who knows. Taste is a little dry. Has a slight burnt taste? And wheat! Wheat wheat wheat! Tasty.

Serving glass:Poured from bottle into Summit Scandia Chalice. Appearance: Pale, slightly hazy, yellow without much head or lacing. Aroma: Orange peel, slightly sour wheat, and dry clove & coriander. Taste: Slightly sour wheat and orange peel upfront before drying out with clove and coriander. As expected for a Witbier but quite well done. Palate: Moderate carbonation, light body, dry souring finish. Overall: Fairly standard Wit but very refreshing. While definitely good, I had expected a little more from Victory.

Had this beer in the bottle. Good summer beer, very refreshing no bitter after taste. Not too crazy about the smell, it smells of yeast. Overall, it’s a good tasting smooth beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Smithtown, NY @ Tap & Barrel - On tap, poured a hazy blonde color with no head or lace. As you bring the glass up for a sip you get slight citrusy hop aroma. Taste is of lemon and coriander which ends with hint of bitterness. A very good, light refreshing summer beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Refrigerated bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours hazy light golden with suspended yeast and small white head. Light coriander aroma, medium body, and medium lacing. Taste is slightly sour grain and coriander.
