Commercial Description:
A swirling dynamo of flavor, with a steady calm of satisfaction at its heart, that's Whirlwind Witbier. Offering a tamed tempest of flavors both spicy and sublime, this softly fermented ale greets the nose and tingles the tongue. Imported Belgian yeast charges Whirlwind with an energy all its own. It is a refreshing interpretation of the classic, Belgian 'white beer' style.

Bottle. Hazy, pale yellow pour. Aroma is spicy and malty. Flavor is a spicy also, wheat and citrusy, a little aggressive with the carbonation, but not in a bad way. A different twist on a Wit.

Found this bottled at the Woodman’s in North Aurora, Illinois. Cloudy, dark yellow pour with no head at all, very light malty, lemony and banana nose, nice but typical white beer flavor, with some berry, baked bread, and a bit of spice. Soft finish. Not bad but I’ve had better white beers.

Sampled from bottle: Pours a cloudy, hazey golden colour with a full overflowing white head. Sweet with wheat and bananna on the nose. Taste is citrusy, sweet and silky. Very refreshing on a hot summer day.

Too clear to be a nice belgian white, but has a nice yellow hue to it. A very frothy/bubbly head to it. The beer is very transparent, and should be more translucent/opaque. The head fades away way too fast. Lots of yeast and coriander in the aroma. The aroma is not too bad, but I would say that the yeast dominates the smell .It is indeed smelling of yeast to the point where that is the main aroma. The aroma is not bad, but not great. The bottle expired 4 days ago, and only cost $3.99, so I am pleased so far. Very thin palate. Reminds me of water, and the flavor has a wine type taste to it. This could be due to the fact that it is expired, and the storage wasn’t so great. The beer has a slight citrus, but mainly yeast taste to it. A decent witbier, but overall, not so great. Remember, this beer was expired when I bought it, but the colder the better. This beer is not a beer to try slightly warm because the flavors are not all that great.

Gold pour almost clear. White head small amount of lace. Fresh picked flower aroma. Thin/watery mouth-feel. Finish’s with clove, spice and lemon.

Nice easy yellow with scant head and hints of cloudiness; smells of flower wheat and bread; tastes crisp with hint hints of clove and spice; finishes clean and light.

Slightly hazy golden copper, some white head. Light aroma: mostly clove, some other spices including allspice. Some sweetness and a light fruitiness. Somewhat flat tasting. Peppery and spicy on the sides of the tounge. Somewhat grassy flavored. Thin and flat palate.
